Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Low Back Muscle Fasciitis By Meridian Massage Of Zhuang Medicine

Objective: By comparing the clinical efficacy of meridian massage of Zhuang medicine and conventional massage in the treatment of low back muscle fasciitis,in order to verify the clinical efficacy of meridian massage of Zhuang medicine in the treatment of low back muscle fasciitis.Methods: 96 patients with low back muscle fasciitis who clinical subjects meeting inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 48 cases each.The intervention measures in the treatment group were meridian massage of Zhuang medicine,while those in the control group were conventional massage.Treatment once a day,6 consecutive days as a course of treatment,rest once day after the start of the second course of treatment,a total of three courses.(1)Pain assessment: by using the simplified McGill scale(including PRI,VAS and PPI);(2)Assessment of lumbar motor function: by using the Roland Morris dysfunction questionnaire;(3)Total efficacy evaluation: by using The Criteria for the Diagnosis and Therapeutic Effect of Diseases and Syndromes in Traditional Chinese Medicine.The clinical data were statistied and analyzed by SPSS20.0,and the clinical effects of two groups of patients with low back muscle fasciitis were compared and analyzed.Results:(1)Baseline data comparison: The general data of sex,age,course of disease,simplified McGill scale scores and Roland-Morris dysfunction questionnaire score before treatment were compared between the two groups,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups were comparable.(2)Comparison of pain assessment results: After treatment,the scores of PRI,VAS and PPI in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),however,in reducing the symptoms of lumbar back pain in patients with low back muscle fasciitis,meridian massage of Zhuang medicine is more advantageous than conventional massage treatment(P<0.05),the difference is statistically significant.(3)Comparison of the results of lumbar motor function assessment: After treatment,the scores of Raland-Morris dysfunction questionnaire in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),however,in the improvement of lumbar movement dysfunction in patients with low back muscle fasciitis,the meridian massage of Zhuang medicine is superior to conventional massage therapy(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant.(4)Comparison of overall efficacy: Two groups after treatment,the total effective rate of 48 patients with low back muscle fasciitis in meridian massage of Zhuang medicine group was 93.75%,the clinical recovery rate was 66.67%.The total clinical effective rate of 48 patients with low back muscle fasciitis treated by conventional massage was 89.58%,the clinical recovery rate was 41.57%.Conclusions: Both meridian massage and meridian massage of Zhuang medicine are effective in the treatment of low back muscle fasciitis,however,the treatment of low back muscle fasciitis by meridian massage of Zhuang medicine is superior to conventional massage in alleviating pain symptoms and improving lumbar motor function,therefore,it is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
