Background: prostate cancer is a common urinary disease in elderly men. With the improvement of living standards, the incidence of prostate cancer has increased significantly in recent years, and has become the highest incidence of malignant tumors in the urinary system.Currently, the known risk factors include race, age and heredity, etc. At the same time, studies have also shown that the protective effects of oxygen free radical oxidative stress and antioxidant factors are closely related to the occurrence and development of prostate cancer.Uric acid in the body have the dual function of oxidation reduction at the same time, the existing research shows that uric acid as an oxidant may be mediated the mutation process of tumor cells, and there are a large number of clinical data demonstrated high uric acid level is closely related to the occurrence of a wide variety of tumor development, previous literatures have reported high uric acid level and the correlation of bladder tumor, but the blood uric acid level impact on the occurrence and development of prostate cancer are rarely reported. Objective: through to the DMU affiliated first hospital uropoiesis surgical department of prostate cancer and non-cancerous prostate patients with other diseases was hospitalized in the first quarter cases were analyzed retrospectively,to investigate the serum uric acid levels and the correlation between prostate cancer development, for clinical diagnosis and epidemiological investigation and the basis of tumor related research to provide some valuable clues. Methods: Collection of DMU affiliated first hospital uropoiesis surgical department between January 2014 and December 2018,via the perineal biopsy diagnosed with prostate cancer patients the clinical data of 352 cases for the team, with the same period is not accidental, merging other prostate cancer tumors, lymphoid hyperplasia of the bone marrow,or is radiation and chemotherapy or androgen deprivation therapy, recent or hospital with acute infection and inflammation, acute or chronic kidney function failure, the combining of inflammatory bowel disease and connective tissue disease such as the tumor,1230 patients with other diseases of prostate as controls, extract relevant test data, the application of SPSS21.0 statistical software,Conduct statistical analysis of the data. Results: a total of 1582 cases were collected in this study, including 352 cases in the study group and 1230 cases in the control group. There were significant differences in serum uric acid levels between the study group and the control group.(P < 0.05).There were statistically significant differences between groups of PSA and uric acid levels.(P < 0.05)Conclusion: this study found that serum uric acid level is correlated with the incidence of prostate cancer, and high serum uric acid level is a risk factor of prostate cancer. In addition, the correlation between serum uric acid level and prostate cancer risk was statistically significant.Uric acid in the blood may affect the occurrence and development of prostate cancer in some way, forming an internal environment that promotes the variation and proliferation of tumor cells. The mechanism of this effect needs further study and analysis.Serum uric acid value may also be one of the auxiliary test indicators in the diagnosis of prostate cancer in addition to prostate specific antigen.Men should pay more attention to adjust the lifestyle and diet structure,so as to prevent the occurrence of prostate cancer.
