Objective:The levels of serum uric acid in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)and healthy adults in the same period were collected and compared between the two groups. The changes of FEV1 / FEV1 / FVC at different concentrations of serum uric acid were compared between the two groups. The clinical significance of maintaining a certain level of uric acid in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)was discussed. And the control of hyperuricemia into the clinical combined treatment of AECOPD system.Methods:30 healthy adults in physical examination department of our hospital were used as control group.80 inpatients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)were randomly selected from the department of respiratory and critical care department of our hospital from 2015 to 2016 as the study group. The patients in the study group were collected blood uric acid values after admission, while the healthy adults in the control group were collected. The quantitative data were expressed as meanąstandard deviation. The serum uric acid values in the two groups were compared by t-test of independent samples.According to different levels of serum uric acid, the study group was divided into two groups: group A and group B were divided into two groups. The changes of FEV1 / FVC were compared in each group. The variance analysis was used in the multigroup comparison, and the data were analyzed statistically by SPSS19.0software(P < 0.0).05 means statistically significant. Results:Serum uric acid levels in AECOPD patients were significantly higher than those in healthy adults.(P < 0.05).With the continuous increase of blood uric acid value,FEV1% and FEV1/FVC decreased, and the lung function was worse. There was a negative correlation between serum uric acid and FEV1% and FEV1/FVC(P < 0.05).Conclusion:Compared with healthy adult patients with AECOPD,serum uric acid was significantly increased, indicating that serum uric acid plays a role of oxidative stress in the development and development of AECOPD and exacerbates lung injury together with inflammatory reaction. With the increase of serum uric acid, pulmonary function decreased gradually, and the degree of airflow limitation increased. There was a negative correlation between serum uric acid and FEV1% FEV1 / FVC,which would aggravate the development of COPD.Therefore, blood uric acid,an economic and easily available biomarker, should and can be used as a dynamic indicator for monitoring the severity of AECOPD,the severity of hypoxia,At the same time,it provides reference for the clinical effect of oxygen therapy. The idea of proper control of uric acid in a certain range should be included in the combined treatment system of AECOPD.
