Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of acupoint application combined with acupuncture in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis(wind-cold type)and conventional acupuncture in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis(wind-cold type). To compare the differences and advantages of the two methods, and to analyze and verify the clinical universality and safety of Acupoint Application in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis(wind-cold type),so as to provide an efficient treatment for clinic.Therapy.To provide scientific basis for clinical application of Acupoint Application in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis(wind-cold type). Methods: 72 patients with peripheral facial paralysis(wind-cold type)who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into 36 cases of acupoint application combined with needling treatment group and 36 cases of control group of acupuncture alone.Among them, the acupoints selected for acupoint application are: the affected side of the Taiyang point,Xiaguan point,Yifeng point,Cheek Che point,Dicang point. The acupoints selected for acupuncture are: Yangbai point,Yifeng point,Taiyang point,Sibai point,Xiaguan point,Dicang point,Qiche point,Qianzheng point and Hegu point on the other side. The acupoints selected by the control group were the same as those selected by the treatment group. Both groups were treated once a day,7 times a week * 4 weeks. Both groups were scored by H-B evaluation scale and disability index(FDI)questionnaire, and analyzed by SPSS22.0statistical acupoint software to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two groups in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis(wind-cold type).Result:1.After the course of treatment,19 cases were cured, accounting for 52.78%;15 cases were markedly effective, accounting for 41.67%;2 cases were effective, accounting for 5.55%;0 cases were ineffective;the cure rate was 94.44%;the total effective rate was 100%;10 cases were cured, accounting for 27.78%;12 cases were markedly effective, accounting for 33.33%;13 cases were effective, accounting for 36.11%;1 case was ineffective, accounting for 2.77%;the total effective rate was 61.11%;the total effective rate was 97.22%.2.Self-comparison between the two groups before and after treatment: FDI somatic function and FDI social function score had statistical significance(P < 0.05),indicating that both groups had higher scores of FDI somatic function and lower scores of FDI social function.3.Comparison between the two groups before and after treatment: FDI physical function,FDI social function score differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05),indicating that the treatment group and the control group in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis compared, the treatment group is better than the control group. Conclusion: Acupoint application combined with acupuncture and simple acupuncture are both effective treatments for peripheral facial paralysis(wind-cold type),and the curative effect of acupoint application combined with acupuncture is better than that of simple acupuncture, which can be used as one of the most widely popularized treatments for this disease.
