Purpose:In order to provide a more effective and safe treatment method for peripheral facial paralysis patients,we observed the clinical efficacy of bilateral acupoint extraction in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis.Material and Method:From May 2017 to December 2017,60 patients with peripheral facial paralysis who were hospitalized in the Department of Encephalopathy,Rehabilitation Center,Liaoning traditional Chinese Medicine were divided into two groups: the experimental group and the control group(Method: random number table method). There were 30 cases in each group.Western medicine treatment in two groups: Prednisone acetate tablets were taken orally,30 mg daily in the morning, the course of treatment was 14 days. The control group was acupoint group on the affected side.In the acute stage,Cuanzhu,Yangbai,Sibai,Quan Liao,Dicang,Jiache,Hegu were collected, and Zusanli acupoint was increased in convalescence. The experimental group was treated with bilateral acupoint extraction. The treatment group is a bilateral acupoint group, the four acupoints of healthy side were increased in acute stage, such as Sibai,Dicang,Jiache and Hegu. The recovery period increased the healthy side Zusanli point.60 patients received 4 courses of treatment(5 Days of1 course of treatment,2 days for a course of treatment interval). Before and after treatment, the scores of House-Brackmann,Facial paralysis symptoms and signs and facial disability index(FDI)were scored. After statistical treatment, observation of the two groups of patients with facial nerve function recovery.Results:1.After treatment, the scores of the two groups of facial paralysis symptoms and signs were significantly lower than before(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).2.After the treatment, the physical function scores of the two groups were significantly higher than before(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).3.After the treatment, the social function scores of the two groups were significantly lower than before(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).4.The efficacies of the experimental group and the control group were 80.00% and 56.67%(p<0.05).Conclusion:1.Bilateral acupoints and acupoint acupuncture treatment can effectively treat peripheral facial paralysis.2.Peripheral facial paralysis is more effective than ipsilateral acupoint acupuncture in both acute and convalescence.3.Bilateral acupoint therapy has significant curative effect and it is worth promoting clinical application.
