Objective: To research the effects of therapy by acupuncture combinedwith point-injecting to sequela of facial paralysis. Methods: 168 cases ofsequela of facial paralysis were randomly divided into three groups. Controlgroup was treated by acupuncture, treatment group one by acupuncturecombined with point-injecting therapy of Methycobal and treatment group twoby acupuncture combined with point-injecting therapy of VB12. In this research,counting marks of the main symptoms judge impairing degrees of facialparalysis and the therapeutic effects. Results: In treatment group one,of the 60cases, 36 cases were cured, with a total effective rate of 88.3%. In treatmentgroup two, of the 60 cases, 39 cases were cured, with a total effective rate of93.3%.In control group, of the 48 cases,14 cases were cured, with a totaleffective rate of 68.75%. Treatment group one and treatment group two have nodistinctive difference by statistical management(P>0.05). Treatment group andcontrol group have distinctive difference by statistical management(P<0.05).Treatment group was obviously Superior to control group. Conclusions: Theabove results suggest that treating sequela of facial paralysis by acupuncturecombined with point-injecting can make functions of damaged facial nerverepair and improve cure rate obviously.
