Clinical Study Of Taohong Siwu Decoction And Wuwei Xiaoke Decoction In Treating Early Diabetic Lower Extremity Vascular Disease

Objective: To observe the efficacy of Taohong Siwu Decoction and Wuwei Xiaoke Decoction on Qi and Yin deficiency and blood stasis syndrome in early diabetic lower extremity vascular disease,to explore its effectiveness and safety,and to enrich the thinking of traditional Chinese medicine in treating lower extremity vascular disease.Methods: Sixty patients with early diabetic lower extremity vascular disease who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups: 30 in the treatment group and 30 in the control group.Both groups received basic treatment for diabetes.The control group was given Atorvastatin calcium tablets and Aspirin enteric-coated tablets.On the basis of the control group,the treatment group was treated with Taohong Siwu Decoction and Wuwei Xiaoke Decoction.The test period was 8 weeks.The indicators were FBG,P2 h BG,Hb A1 c,TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,ABI and TCM clinical symptoms and signs scores.Results: 1.Comparison of clinical symptoms and signs of TCM: The scores of TCM clinical symptoms and signs in the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).There was significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05).The results shows that the treatment group improved the clinical symptoms and signs of TCM better than the control group.2.Comparison of clinical efficacy: After treatment,the total clinical effective rate of the treatment group and the control group were 86.67% and 73.33% respectively.The treatment group was superior to the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results shows that the treatment group was better than the control group for early diabetic lower extremity vascular disease.3.Comparison of laboratory indexes:(1)After treatment,FBG,P2 h BG and Hb A1 c in the treatment group were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The FBG and P2 h BG in the control group were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),but Hb A1 c was no significant difference after treatment(P>0.05).Compared with the control group,the FBG,P2 h BG,and Hb A1 c in the treatment group decreased more significantly(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group in controlling blood glucose.(2)After treatment,TC,TG and LDL-C in the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the treatment group decreased more significantly(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant.After treatment,the HDL-C were higher than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group increased more significantly(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant.The results shows that the treatment group was superior to the control group in improving blood lipid levels.(3)After treatment,the ABI of the two groups was significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the ABI decreased significantly in the treatment group(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.The effect of the treatment group on improving the ABI was better than that of the control group.4.Comparison of safety indicators: During the study,there were no serious adverse reactions in the two groups,and the safety indicators such as vital signs,three major routines,and liver and kidney functions were normal.Conclusion: Taohong Siwu Decoction and Wuwei Xiaoke Decoction have good clinical curative effect on the treatment of Qi and Yin deficiency and blood stasis syndromes early diabetic lower extremity vascular disease,and effectively improve the blood glucose,blood lipid and ankle brachial index of patients.The effect is safe and accurate,with no adverse reactions.
