Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Runchang Pills in the treatment of slow transit constipation(blood deficiency syndrome),and to provide clinical evidence for the clinical use of Runchang Pills.Method All cases selected in this study were 60 patients with slow transit constipation(blood deficiency syndrome)who were admitted to the Department of Anorectal Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine from November 2017 to November 2018.SPSS20.0 statistical package generated a random number table, and 60 patients were randomly divided into two groups according to the order of treatment.Runchang pill group:30 cases, were given Runchang pill,200 m L/day,twice orally;prucalopride succinate tablets group:30 cases, were given prucalopride succinate tablets,2mg/time,once a day orally, period of treatment of two groups were 4 weeks. The clinical symptom scores before treatment,4 weeks after treatment and 3 months after treatment were analyzed, the efficacy and digestive tract transmission function after 4 weeks of treatment, and the recurrence rate after 3 months of treatment was analyzed. Results A total of 59 patients completed this clinical study,of which 1 in the Runchang Pill group withdrew from the study. After statistical comparison, there was no significant difference in gender, age, duration of disease,pre-treatment symptom scores, and disease severity between the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable. The total effective rate comparison: After 4 weeks of treatment,6 cases of the Runchang Pill were cured, markedly effective in 13 cases, effective in 8 cases, ineffective in 2 cases, the total effective rate was 93.10%;4 cases of prucalopride succinate tablets were cured, and 10 cases were markedly effective.13 cases were effective,3 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 90.00%.After treatment, the effect of the two groups was X~2=2.16,P=0.53>0.05,and the difference was not statistically significant.Comparison of clinical symptoms: In the group of Runchang pills and prucalopride succinate tablets, the symptom scores and total scores of the two groups were better than those before treatment(P<0.05)after 4 weeks of treatment and in 3 months after the end of treatment. After treatment, the symptoms of the two groups improved compared with each group before treatment. After 4 weeks of treatment, the Runchang pill group was better than the prucalopride succinate tablets group in terms of difficulty in defecation, defecation time and total score.Three months after the end of treatment, the Runchang pill group was better than the prucaropride group in the defecation difficulty, defection state, defecation time, incomplete defecation and total score(P<0.05),indicating that Runchang pills in treating slow transit constipation had obvious effect and the long-term effect was better than that of the prucalopride succinate tablets group.Comparison of the first defecation time: The average first defecation time after treatment with Runchang pills and prucalopride succinate tablets was16.00 hours and 12.60 hours, respectively. After statistical test, the first defecation time after treatment was compared between the two groups,P=0.00<0.05,and the difference was significant.Contrast of digestive tract transmission test results: The results of digestive tract transmission test after treatment of Runchang Pill group is better than those of prucalopride succinate tablets group, and there are significant differences(P<0.05).The difference is statistically significant. The results of 3 months follow-up of the two groups are compared: in 3months follow-up after treatment,3 cases recurres in Runchang pills group, and the recurrence rate is 11.11%.There are 14 cases of recurrence in prucalopride succinate tablets group, and the recurrence rate is 51.85%.The recurrence rates are compared between the two groups after 3 months of treatment, which wasX~2=10.38,P=0.03<0.05,indicating that the long-term efficacy of Runchang pill group was better than that of prucalopride succinate tablets group. Conclusion Runchang pill and prucalopride succinate tablets are effective in treating slow transit constipation, but Runchang pill has more obivous effect on the improvement of clinical symptoms more and last longer, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
