Objective:Our study aimed to observe the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture combined with extracorporeal shock wave therapy for supraspinatus tendinitis, and to provide theoretical and clinical basis for electroacupuncture combined with extracorporeal shock xwave treatment of supraspinatus tendinitisMethods:We selected patients with supraspinatus tendinitis who were treated in the acupuncture and rehabilitation dep artment of Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April to December 2018.A total of 40 patients were enrolled and randomly divided into control group and treatment group. Each group includes20 cases. The two groups were performed extracorporeal shock wave therapy, and the treatment group was treated with electroacupuncture on the basis of extracorporeal shock wave therapy.Shock wave treatment is perf'ormed once a week,3 times for 1 course.electroacupuncture treatment once every other day,and 10 times for 1 course. After 2 courses of treatment, the changes of visual analogue(VAS)score, activities of daily living(ADL)score, range of motion(ROM)score and shoulder scoring system(UCLA)were compared before and after treatmentResults:1.The two groups of general data are compared, there was no significant difference in the age, sex, shoulder and duration of the two groups of patients included in the subj ect(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups of patients can be compared2.Before treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups in the comparison of the VAS score,ADL score,ROM score and UCLA score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).3.Groups before and after treatment, there were significant differences in the VAS score,ADL score,ROM score and UCLA score between the two groups(P<0.05)4.After treatment, the treatment group was superior to the control group in improving the VAS score,ADL score,ROM score and UCLA score of the shoulder joint, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)5.Comparison of overall efficacy, there are 7 cases were cured in the treatment group,9 cases were markedly effective.2 cases were effective,1 case was ineffective, and the total effective rate was 94.74%.In the control group,1 case was cured,7 cases were markedly effective,8 cases were effective, and 2 cases were ineffective. The effective rate was 88.89%.The difference between the two groups was significant, the difference in total effective rate was not obvious, but the difference between the cure and cure efficiency rate was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Electroacupuncture combined with extracorporeal shock wave treatment of supraspinatus tendinitis can effectively improve its clinical symptoms, relieve shoulder pain and activity limitation, and the overall effect is better than simple extracorporeal shock wave therapy;2.Electroacupuncture combined with extracorporeal shock wave therapy is more effective, more stable and safer, and it is worthy of clinical application.
