Leihuo Moxibustion Combined With ZiwuDuichong Electric Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Cold And Wet Type Knee Osteoarthritis Clinical Research

Objective: The purpose of this study was to observe and study the clinical efficacy of Leihuo moxibustion combined with ZiwuDuichong electric acupuncture in the treatment of cold and wet type knee osteoarthritis,and to evaluate the effectiveness and practicability of this method through scientific methods.To provide a new treatment idea for the clinical treatment of this disease.Methods: Randomized controlled clinical trial was used in this study.Eighty patients diagnosed as cold and wet type knee osteoarthritis in the acupuncture department and orthopaedic outpatient clinic of the Ruikang hospital were selected and divided into treatment group(40 cases)and control group(40cases).The treatment group was treated with Leihuo moxibustion combined with ZiwuDuichong electric acupuncture,once a day,10 times a course(rest on Saturday and Sunday),and the effect was observed after 2 courses.The control group was treated with Diclofenac sodium double-release enteric-coated capsules combined with Fuguigutong capsules orally.Diclofenac sodium double-release enteric-coated capsules were taken once a day,one capsule each time,for 3 days.Then switch to Chinese patent medicine with Fuguigutong capsule,three times a day,four tablets each time,continuous use of a month.VAS score,Lysholm knee score,TCM syndrome score and adverse reactions before and after treatment were recorded.Statistical analysis was conducted to evaluate the therapeutic effects of the two treatment methods on cold and wet type knee osteoarthritis.Results: After two courses of treatment,80 patients were included in the study.There was no significant difference in general data between the two groups(P > 0.05),indicating that the two groups were comparable.There were no significant differences in VAS score,Lysholm score and TCM syndrome score between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05),indicating that the two groups were comparable.After treatment,VAS score,Lysholm total score,Lysholm joint atresia score,Lysholm joint swelling score,Lysholm quality of life score and TCM syndrome score were significantly different between the two groups(P < 0.05),and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.Lysholm joint instability score and Lysholm support score showed no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05),indicating that the two groups had similar efficacy.Conclusion:(1)The treatment group after Leihuo moxibustion combined with ZiwuDuichong electric therapy needle,patients with knee joint pain,swelling degrees,the degree of instability and adverse conditions to improve before symptoms such as a knee flexion and extension,curative effect is distinct,the overall treatment effect is better than that of Diclofenac sodium double release of enteric capsules combined with laurel bone pain capsule,therefore,Leihuo moxibustion combined with ZiwuDuichong electric therapy is an effective therapy for the treatment of the disease.(2)The combination of Leihuo moxibustion and ZiwuDuichong electric therapy acupuncture point selection is simple,effective,safe and non-toxic side effects,suitable for clinical promotion.
