According to the Lequesne score to evaluate the improvement situation of knee pain which caused by the cold dampness type chronic knee osteoarthritis before and after the treatment. Results:Two groups of patients with baseline data for t test and chi-square test, showing no statistical difference (P>0.05), both of the cold dampness type chronic knee osteoarthritis patients with a certain comparability. After two course of treatment, the Lequesne score of the treatment group is better than the control group, and they were statistically different (P<0.05). The warming-acupuncture group had 5 cases were cured,10 cases excellence,13 cases utility and 2 cases nullity. The electric-acupuncture group had 3 cases were cured,7 cases excellence,15 cases utility and 5 cases nullity. The efficacy of the two groups by chi square test, the clinical curative effect of the warming-acupuncture group was better than that of electronic-acupuncture groups, and they were statistically different (P< 0.05).Conclusion:Clinical observation results show that warming-acupuncture can obviously relive the knee pain which caused by the cold dampness type chronic knee osteoarthritis.
