Clinical Observation Of Silver Needle In The Treatment Of Ankylosing Spondylitis

Objective: Through the systematic evaluation of the efficacy of silver needle in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis,and analyses its safety and feasibility,in order to provide a more simple,safe,effective and inexpensive method for clinical treatment of AS.Methods: We collected Thirty-two AS patients clinical data who met the inclusion criteria from December 2016 to January 2019 in outpatient departmentand The Third Department of Orthopedics,Guangxi Orthopaedics Traumatology Hospital,including 28 males and 4 females.According to the standard of random distribution,we make all patients divided into observation group of 16 cases(treated with silver needle),the control group included 16 patients(treated with salazopyridine + leflunomide Oral treatment).Both groups were treated for 8 weeks.After the treatment,efficacy evaluation indexes were collected and the efficacy was statistically analyzed.Results: In this study,included 32 patients,and all patients were finally completed without shedding.(1)Comparison of major clinical symptom indicators: Before treatment,there was no significant difference(P > 0.05)between the two groups in terms of hip range of motion and function score,VAS pain score,BASFI score and BASDAI score.Intra-group comparison was conducted in terms of the above indicators before and after treatment,and inter-group comparison was conducted in terms of the above indicators after treatment,P <0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.(2)Comparison of Clinical signs and symptoms: Before treatment,the two groups showed no significant difference(P>0.05)in occipital wall distance,thoracic activity,improved finger-ground distance,and improved Schober test,showing comparability.Intra-group comparison was conducted in terms of the above indicators before and after treatment,and inter-group comparison was conducted in terms of the above indicators after treatment,P < 0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.(3)Comparison of the main laboratory observation indexes: Before treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of blood sedimentation rate and c-reactive protein(P>0.05),which was comparable.Intra-group comparison was conducted in terms of the above indicators before and after treatment,and intergroup comparison was conducted in terms of the above indicators after treatment,P <0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.(4)The comparison of TCM symptoms curative effect: Before treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups in TCM clinical symptoms(P>0.05),which was comparable.After treatment,there was a statistically significant difference in the improvement of TCM symptoms between the two groups(P<0.05).(5)Comparison of total efficacy after treatment: Total efficacy of silver needle acupuncture group: Among them,2 cases were ineffective,8 cases were effective,5 cases were significant,and 1 case was cured,with the total effective rate accounting for 87.5%.Total efficacy of drug group: 5 cases were invalid,11 cases were effective,1 case was significant,0 cases were cured,and the total effective rate was 68.8%.After the test and analysis of the total efficacy of the two groups,the result P was less than 0.05,the difference was statistically significant,indicating that the efficacy of the silver needle acupuncture group was significantly better than that the drug control group.Conclusion : Silver needle acupuncture therapy AS in improving the patient's clinical symptoms,signs and laboratory observation indexes is better than pure western medicine oral treatment.In addition,it has high safety,less complications and remarkable curative effect,providing a new idea for clinical treatment of AS and worthy of further promotion and application in clinical practice.
