Objective:To analyze the difference and significance of polysomnography between unipolar depression and bipolar depression.Method: Object:24 cases of unipolar depression and 16 cases of bipolar depression treated in Dalian seventh people's hospital from November 2017 to November 2018 were selected as the research objects, and 7 normal people who underwent physical examination in our hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.24 items of Hamilton scale(HAMD)were used to evaluate the degree of depression.Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale(PSQI)was used to evaluate subjective sleep quality. All subjects' sleep was monitored using the e-series EEG/PSG polysomnography.Univariate anova was used for statistical analysis.Result:1.The total HAMD score and each factor score in the unipolar depression and bipolar depression groups were higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05).Except unipolar depression group had more significant weight loss than bipolar depression group(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the total HAMD score and other factors between the two groups(P>0.05).2.The total HAMD score and each factor score in the unipolar depression and bipolar depression groups were higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05).(P <0.05).Except unipolar depression group sleep time is significantly longer than bipolar depression group sleep time(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in PSQI and other factors between the two groups(P>0.05).3.Unipolar depression was compared with healthy controls:Unipolar depression group was significantly lower than healthy control group: TST,SE,S1 total time,S2 total time,S4 total time,REM total time and REM% were significantly lower than healthy control group; And Unipolar depression S3% was higher than the control group(P <0.05).The TST,SE,S1 total time,S2%,S2 total time,REM total time,REM%,and REM latency time were significantly lower in the bipolar depression group than in the healthy control group.SL,S3% and S3 total time were higher than control group(P < 0.05).SL,s4%,total S4 time,SWS,SWS% in unipolar depression group were lower than that in bipolar depression group(P < 0.05).The S2% in unipolar depression group was significantly higher than that in bipolar depression group(P < 0.05).4.Correlation between depressive symptoms and polysomnography: HAMD block and despair factor of unipolar depression patients are positively correlated with polysomnography S2 sleep time and REM sleep time factor.HAMD blockers were positively correlated with total sleep wake time on polysomnography in the bipolar depression group. There was no correlation between total HAMD score and polysomnographyConclusion:Sleep time,S4%,SWS and SWS% of monophasic depression were less than that of bipolar depression, but S2% of monophasic depression was more than that of bipolar depression.which may be helpful for the differential diagnosis of the two,and further research is needed in the future.
