Objectives: To observe the effect of the midnight-noon ebb-flow “Najia Method” combined with dialectical acupoint on the symptoms of anxiety, depression and angina pectoris in coronary heart disease patients with anxiety and depression after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, totally 120 outpatient and hospitalized patients were enrolled at the Department of Cardiology, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong Traditional Chinese Medicine University from September 2016 to September 2017.By using the random number table method, the subjects were randomly divided into the midnight-noon ebb-flow group and the control group, with 60 cases in each group. All the subjects of the midnight-noon ebb-flow group and the control group received secondary prevention of coronary heart disease, including health education, therapeutic lifestyle intervention and medication. The medication therapy included aspirin 100mg/d,or(and)clopidogrel 75mg/d,atorvastatin 20mg/d.Drugs such as ?-blocker and RAAS system inhibitors could be used according to the condition of the disease, and the dosage of the drugs could be adjusted. For patients in the midnight-noon ebb-flow group, besides secondary prevention of coronary heart disease, the treatment of midnight-noon ebb-flow low frequency therapeutic apparatus based on the theory of “midnight-noon ebb-flow” was performed. The treatment of open hole combined with dialectical acupoint was performed 5 times a week, with 20 minutes for each time.Every 2 weeks were a course of treatment, and totally 6 courses were applied.During the experiment, other drugs that could affect mental and neurologic symptoms were prohibited. For all the experimental subjects, scores of the Hamilton Anxiety Scale, the Hamilton Depression Scale, and the Seattle Angina Scale were measured before and after the intervention for the subsequent comparison.Results:(1)There was no statistically significant difference in the baseline characteristics of sex, age, course of disease, anxiety scale score, depression scale score and Seattle angina scale score between the two groups. The baseline data were comparable.(2)In the aspect of anxiety, statistically significant differences were found in the HAMA scores, somatic anxiety factors, mental anxiety factors and the cardiovascular system, respiratory system, gastrointestinal symptoms and autonomic nervous system of the somatic anxiety factors between the two groups before and after the intervention,respectively(P<0.05).(3)In the aspect of depression, there were significant differences in the HAMA scores, and three dimensions of anxiety/somatization,sleep disorder and despair between the two groups before and after the intervention(P<0.05).However,no statistically significant difference was found in the four dimensions of weight, cognitive impairment, day and night changes, and delay before and after the intervention(P>0.05).(4)In the aspect of coronary heart disease related symptoms, there were statistically significant differences in the five dimensions of the SAQ scale(including the degree of physical activity limitation, the stable state of angina pectoris, the frequency of angina pectoris, the degree of treatment satisfaction, and the degree of disease recognition)before and after the intervention(P<0.05).Conclusion: Based on the theory of “midnight-noon ebb-flow”,the intervention therapy of the midnight-noon ebb-flow “Najia Method” combined with dialectical acupoint could significantly improve the symptoms of anxiety, depression and angina pectoris in coronary heart disease patients after PCI.
