ObjectivesTo Investigate resilience,emotion management and subjective well-being of medical students,and explore the relationship between the three.From the Angle of positive payc--hology,Thus to improve the emotion management and provide effective reference for the psychological health education of medical students.MethodsStratified cluster sampling was used.1260 college students had been investigated and analyzed in 3 medical colleges of anhui province by questionnaire on medical students general information,resilience,emotion management and subjective well-being.SPSS19.0 statistical software was used for data entry and analysis,including descriptive analys--is,parametric analyses(t-test.ANOVA analysis).nonparametric analyses(chi-square test,Mann-Whitney U test for comparison between two groups,Kruskal-Wallis test for comparison including more than two groups),Pearson or Spearman correlation analysis and mul--ltiple linear stepwise regression analysis.ResultsA total of 1300 questionnaires were released,of which 1300 were returned and 1260(96.9%)were usable.Detailed information was follows:1.The resilience average score of medical students was 3.58±0.42,which was in a medium or above level.The dimension scores by descending order are:positive cognition(3.93±0.60),family support(3.76±0.60),target focus(3.64±0.58),interpersonal helping(3.47±0.73),emotional control(3.24±0.66).2.The emotion management average score of medical students was 3.94±0.44,which was in a medium or above level.The average scores of each dimension from low to high are:emotional evaluation ability(4.09±0.49),emotional expression ability(3.91±0.48),emotional regulation ability(3.89±0.49),emotional perception ability(3.77±0.49).3.The subjective well-being average score of medical students was 3.44±0.34,which was in a medium or above level.The dimension scores by descending order are:social behavior(3.90±0.52),life satisfaction(3.73±0.57),energy(3.66±0.69),self-satisfaction(3.49±0.38),positive emotions(3.28±0.46),family satisfaction(3.25±0.72),interpersonal relation(2.96±0.56),negative emotions(2.57±0.81).4.Different demographic characteristics of the resilience of medical students' score was statistically significant.In grades,gender,upbringing style,academic achievement,monthly living expenses,and opening activities between groups was statistically differen--ce(p< 0.05).The scores of emotional management ability of medical students in different gender,place of origin,upbringing style,study achievement,monthly living expenses and opening activities were statistically significant(p<0.05).The scores of subjective wellbeing of medical students were statistically significant in terms of speciality gender,place of origin,upbringing style,love,academic achievement,monthly living expenses and opening activities(p< 0.05).5.Correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between psychol--ogical resilience and emotional management ability of medical students,and the correlat--ion coefficient was 0.580(p<0.01).There was a positive correlation between mental toughness and subjective well-being of medical students,with a correlation coefficient of0.366(p<0.01).The emotional management ability of medical students was positively correlated with subjective well-being with a correlation coefficient of 0.584(p<0.01).6.The multivariate linear stepwise regression analysis was carried out on the subject--ive well-being of medical students.The variables that entered the regression equation wer-e emotion perception ability,emotion regulation ability,goal focus,love,emotional express-ion ability,student origin,gender and emotional control.The eight variables can effectively explain 39.6% variation of subjective well-being.7.Emotional management ability of medical students plays a complete intermedia--ry role between psychological resilience and subjective well-being.Conclusion1.The resilience of medical students is above the average level.College administrato--rs should pay attention to taking effective measures to improve medical students' ability of interpersonal assistance and emotional control so as to improve the level of mental health of medical students as a whole.2.The emotional management ability of medical students is at the middle level,and the score of emotional perception is the lowest,and the ability to improve this aspect sho-uld be emphasized.3.The subjective well-being of medical students is above the average level,so we should pay attention to overcome the influence of negative emotion and cultivate the opt--imistic attitude.4.Intervention in the psychological resilience and emotional management ability of medical students can promote their higher subjective well-being.
