Objective:To explore the dynamic changes of plasma CXCL12 levels and their effects on the prognosis in patients with acute hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage; To explore the relativity between plasma CXCL12 levels and relative edema volume.Methods:34 cases of patients with acute hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage were selected and detecting their plasma CXCL12 levels in within 24h,3d,7d and 14d respectively by ELISA.At the same time 25 healthy people were selected as the control group.According to modified Rankin Score(mRS),patients with acute hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage were divided into good outcome group(mRS?2)and poor outcome group(mRS>2),then compared plasma CXCL12 levels in the two groups.Calculated relative edema volume in within 24h,3d and 7d respectively based on craniocerebral CT examination. The relativity between plasma CXCL12 levels of intracerebral hemorrhage patients and relative edema volume in different time were analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis.Results:1.The plasma CXCL12 level within 24 hours in intracerebral hemorrhage group(19.85 ±1.84?g/L)was dramatically higher than that in control group[(11.34±2.23 ?g/L)](p<0.01).Plasma CXCL12 levels in intracerebral hemorrhage patients began to rapidly rise from the third day(22.56±1.56?g/L)and reached to the peak in the seventh day(23.38±1.53?g/L),then began to drop in the fourteenth day(22.64±1.78pg/L),but it was still higher than control group(p<0.01).2.Good outcome group had a consistent change with the whole trend and there were significantly higher than normal control group at each time of detection(p<0.01).Poor outcome group had not declined in the fourteenth day(23.98±1.30?g/L).3.The plasma CXCL12 levels in poor outcome group were higher than that in good outcome group at each time of detection and there were a significant difference in the seventh day(p<0.05)and in the fourteenth day(p<0.01).4.The Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between plasma CXCL12 levels and relative edema volume respectively in the third day(r = 0.631,p<0.01)and in the seventh day(r = 0.435,p<0.05).Conclusion:1.The plasma CXCL12 level increased significantly after intracerebral hemorrhage and showed dynamic change;and had a significant difference in the seventh day and in the fourteenth day between poor and good outcome group. Therefore, plasma CXCL12 levels may be an important indicator of evaluating the prognosis of patients with cerebral hemorrhage.2.The change of CXCL12 level after intracerebral hemorrhage has a consistent with edema development trend, and there was a positive correlation between plasma CXCL12 level and relative edema volume in the third day and in the seventh day respectively. Therefore, dynamic monitoring CXCL12 level can provide the evidence for assessment and treatment of cerebral edema.
