Clinical Research Of Treating Tinnitus With Pestle Needle

Objective: To observe curative effect on treating tinnitus with pestle needle,compare the pestle needle with common acupuncture in the treatment of tinnitus,thus provide new ways for the tinnitus treatment in TCM,further excavate pestle needle's application in the clinical.Methods: Patients were randomly divided into two groups,including treatment group cured with pestle needle and control group cured with acupuncture.Each group had 30 cases,a total of 60 cases.Treats every day one time,each weak five times continuously,two days off.A course has two weeks,and treatment courses totally are four weeks,follow-up the patients after one month.We assess therapeutic with VAS,Tinnitus Severity Scale,THI,SAS and so on.Statistical analysis by using SPSS software from 19.0.Results: This study participants included patients with 60 cases,fall off three cases,results the treatment group 29 cases,28 cases in the control group.(1)After 2 weeks treatment,the effective rate of the treatment group was 27.59% and the control group was 42.86%,the curative effect between the two groups was no significant difference(p>0.05).Treated for 4 weeks,the effective rate of the treatment group was 44.83%and the control group was 64.29%,there was no significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05).Followed up for 1 month,the effective rate of the treatment group was 51.72% and the control group was 57.14%,there was no significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05).(2)The effective rate of 2 weeks was 35.09%,54.39% for 4 weeks,there are differences between course of treatment(p<0.05).After2 weeks and 4 weeks treatment,there was no significant difference between the curative effect in two way(p>0.05).(3)After treatment of 4 weeks,by compared with grading effects on sleep,the treatment group has significant difference(p<0.01),the control group has difference(p<0.05),there has difference between the two groups(p<0.05).(4)Safety: two groups were not found serious adverse reactions.Conclusion:(1)Pestle needle therapy is safe and effective for treating tinnitus.(2)There was no significant difference between Pestle needle therapy and common acupuncture in the treatment of tinnitus.(3)Pestle needle therapy effectively improve sleep patterns in patients with tinnitus,and good curative effect than ordinary acupuncture.
