Analysis Of Pediatric Medical Service Status Of Class ? Or Above General Hospitals In A City

Objective: To analysis of the problems in the construction of pediatric medical service capacity based on investigating pediatric medical service status of class ii or above general hospitals and the socio-economic development of a certain district and city in fujian province,to put forward suggestions for improving paediatric service ability and advancing development of pediatric medical service,and protecting the health of local children.Methods: To collect relevant indicators of medical services of pediatrics,internal medicine,surgery,obstetrics and gynecology in Class II or above General Hospitals in a city from 2013 to 2017 using a self-made questionnaire,and to analyze the status of paediatric medical services Using statistical methods.At the same time we investigated and analysised the status of a typical pediatric hospital with good development,a structured interview was used to understand the opinions and suggestions on the pediatric medical services of the 12 hospital management and pediatric medical staff.Results: 1.The overall situation of pediatric medical services in class 2 or above general hospital: Of 12 hospital,3 class 2 hospitals were not set pediatric clinics and wards,the set of class 3 hospital was better than those of class 2 hospitals;but increasing of Pediatric health care was still less than other departments.in 2017,the proportion of medical personnel with middle or above pediatric doctor and nurse accounted for 41.28% and 18.75%,respectively,the proportion of doctors with master degree or above was only 3.49%,less than other deparments.The workload of Pediatricians was more than others,the average annual growth rate of pediatric outpatient visits and inpatients was 7.50% and 7.06%,and average number of hospital stayed shortened and bed turnover rate was fast,Pediatric medical expenses were significantly lower than others.2.Pediatric development in typical hospitals: The pediatric department of the hospital had grown from a department into a municipal child specialist hospital.Outpatient visits and hospital stayed steadily increased,the number of critically sick patients was on the rise,investing a lot of money to purchase pediatric equipment and increasing the number of open beds.The number of paediatric staff increased by 115 and the income increased steadily.The average annual growth rate was 16.32% and 19.95% respectively,and higher than the average annual income of other medical staff.3.Interview results: The interviewee was less satisfied with the current pediatric status,they thinked that there had been a certain development in the pediatrics of the hospital,but medical staff were still fewer,and a risk of faults in the department staff,high workload and psychological pressure of pediatric status were more,they were with higher risk,lower benefits and lower income.Conclusion: 1.The supply of pediatric medical resources in the secondary hospitals above class 2 in a certain city was insufficient,the number of medical staff was obviously less,and the overall number of beds was growing slowly;The quality of human resources in pediatric medical services is not high,the proportion of medical staff with middle-level titles or above,the proportion of doctors with master's degree or above were low,and the departmental settings were not sufficiently detailed.But the demand for pediatric medical services was large,the workload of the staff was high,the economic benefit of pediatrics was relatively low,and the cost of medical services was relatively high.Pediatric medical service providers are mainly public hospitals above level II.2.To steadily improve pediatric medical services,we must optimize the allocation and rational integration of pediatric medical and health resources.Take a variety of ways and measures to increase pediatric professional technicians,to strengthen the education of medical personnel and professional qualifications to improve clinical diagnosis and treatment,at the same time,it attached importance to children's preventive care,strengthens health education,and continuously meets the needs of people's pediatric medical services.
