Analysis On Changes Of Lasker Medical Research Awards Achievement

Taking the“upside down”of 2016 Lasker Award as excuse,Statistics and analysis 70 years patent data of Lasker Award winners,in order to explore the changes of Lasker Medical Research Awards Achievements.The study found that the patent holder for basic Lasker Award winners in an increasingly large proportion,which means that such research is transforming to intermediate achievement from pure basic research to the application side.Also found that more and more papers are published by clinical medicine awards winners,which means that such research is transforming to intermediate achievement between the application research and basic research.Further discriminating the nature of the research,based on the scientific and technological hierarchy and the information of award-winning.It's found that with the development of basic science,various disciplines will enter into the stage of the Translational medicine,and more and more technological science achievements will be achieved.This change is consistent with the development of transformation medicine.It is the embodiment of the role of the intermediary and bridge of technical science.Thus research funding,personnel training and discipline construction in our country should be improved as soon.
