The concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery started in the 1990 s.In 2001,professor Henik Kehlet proposed the concept of Fast Track surgery first.The goal can be understood as: the body in perioperative patients with full understanding of physiological changes,minimize to patients with malignant stimulation,such as: fasting,mechanical bowel preparation,low temperature,undesirable stimulation,etc.So as to reduce patients with intraoperative and postoperative complications,raise the comfortable rate of the patients.In the premise of rapid recovery,patients can reduce hospitalization expenses,shorten hospitalization time,improve surgical safety,and increase patient satisfaction.This concept has been gradually standardized and improved through the exploration and research of many scholars since its inception 20 years ago,but there are still many problems.Therefore,this paper mainly analyzes the application status,development and existing problems of enhanced recovery after surgery concept and its treatment in patients with colorectal cancer.
