ObjectiveIn recent years,China is continuing to deepen reform of the medical and health care system.Based on the theoretical basis of advanced research achievements on burnout at home and abroad,through the investigation of prevalence and risk factors of job burnout among hospital administrators and support workers in the 5 municipal hospitals in Chongqing,this research analyzed the job burnout status,summarized the associated factors and put forward the corresponding strategy according to the practical conditions,so as to promote mental health,increase work efficiency and promote the healthy development of health care.MethodsFirstly,literature related to job burnout at home and abroad were retrieved by document analysis method,mainly focus on its latestresearch progress.Secondly,5 hospital administrators were selected to be interviewed,which came from departments of medical quality management,party and government,logistical support.Finally,MBI-HSS scale was adopted to conduct questionnaire survey,and the data was then imported to SPSS 19.0 for statistical analysis.ResultsGenerally,investigated administrators in municipal hospitals in Chongqing was in a moderate or higher level of job burnout,with moderate burnout of emotional exhaustion and sense of personal achievement,and high burnout of lack of emotionality.Results of single factor analysis indicated that job burnout was related with influencing factors of ages,professional titles,clinical departments,organizational affiliations,incomes and so on.Results of multiple factor analysis showed that the influencing factors of emotional exhaustion and lack of emotionality were clinical departments and professional titles,while the influencing factors of sense of personal achievement was professional titles.ConclusionsAccording to the results,this research has put forward macro proposals in deepening the organizational system reforming and establishing mental supporting system from the aspect of society,specificmeasures in constructing rational job rotation system,performance distribution system,fair promotion system and continuing education from the aspect of organization,countermeasures in setting up reasonable occupational values,improving psychological quality,objective self-assessment and promoting operational capability.
