Purpose This thesis try to discuss the nurse job burnout situation and the characteristic of social support for the three best hospital in Nanjing, the relative between social support and the emergency, intensity of nurse job burnout, then, discuss the prevent and relieve function for social support to job burnout.Method MBI and SSRS were been used on questionnaire investigation for the nurse in the three best hospital in Nanjing. Spss13.0 Software package was been applied to collect the the data and analysis. Describe analysis, inspection, variance analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis were been adopted to make a analysis.Result 1. The nurses in the three best hospital in Nanjing have seriously job burnout.2. The nurse of different age, nursing age, education, marital status, professional title, department have different extent of job burnout.3. It does not have significance difference to the extent of job burnout or the nurse who have children or not, different night shifts, different human relations.4. The social support score have obvious difference for the nurse who have different age, nursing age, education, marital status, children or not, professional title, department, night shifts, human relations.5. Support subjectively and emotional exhaustion has outstanding negative correlation, Support utilize degree and depersonalization has notability negative correlation, suport score and emotional exhaustion has outstanding negative correlation.6. Social support total score is effectively predict variable of nurse emotional exhaustion, support utilize degree is effectively predict variable of depersonalization.Conclusion The nurses in the three best hospital in Nanjing have seriously job burnout, they need more attention and understanding from the supervisor and society. Meanwhile, they should also study constantly, change cognition, improve the subjective and objective support level and support utilize degree, reduce the emergence of job burnout.
