The Evolution And Frontiers Of General Practice:a Seientometrie Study And Visual Analytics

[Objectives]As the advanced countries around the world promote health care reform and pay attention to the wave of medical quality,the development of general practice has become a trend.The studies of general practice in western developed countries have been earlier,and the whole branch of medicine has constructed a relatively complete knowledge system.This study shows the evolution of the basic theory and the frontier research through the information visualization methods,and teases the development of the subject and the evolution course of the subject.Combining the hot research and frontier trend analysis,the article puts forward the development trend and the suggestion of developing in China.It is of referential significance to further study the theory and method of general practice.[Methods]This study mainly based on the Web of Science^TM core collection database about the literature data of the general practice.On the basis of the construction of the1950-1990 literature of the co-citation network,combined with clustering literature to analysis the basic theory of the disciplines;Using the method of multidimensional scaling analysis to draw the co-citation network of the journals,and analyzes the structure of the subject of general practice according to the principal component factor;Collection of1991-2015 literature data on the Web of Science^TM core collection and CNKI database separately,used SQL script to build the keyword co-occurrence relations and utilize gephi to draw the co-word map of five time zones per five years,then pursue the development of hot spots in general practice.Supplement the PubMed database and the general medical journals in the 1991-2015 to conduct a comprehensive summary on the hotspot research;This paper used the data collected from 2001-2015 in the Web of Science^TM core collection database to construct the co citation network,and analyzes the frontiers and trends of general practice with the references.[Results]（1）The development of the subject in general practice is divided into three stages:In the end of 1960s for the formative stage,1970s to1980s in the stage of development,discipline for mature stage since 1990s.（2）The theoretical basis of general practice:Biomedical science is the foundation of the general practice.Clinical medicine,sociology,psychology,preventive medicine,public health and pharmacy have laid a theoretical foundation for the development of general practice.（3）Summarizes six hot research direction:the primary health care,common health problems in general medical treatment,the relationship between doctors and patients,medical education,the general medical service mode,health assessment and health management.（4）Cutting-edge research direction and development trend in general practice:In 21st Century,the development of general practice need innovative thinking,and need to apply a new solution to the problem of increasingly update,foresee the health needs of residents.As information technology,Internet development,the concept of big data and accurate medical is put forward,realizing information management of general medical services,data mining and utilization in general practice is the forefront of research in general practice is also a development trend in general practice.（5）Evolution characteristics in general medicine:Research methods,the study of general medicine from quantitative research to attaches great importance to the combination of qualitative research method;In research content,early more emphasis on the use of clinical guidelines to actively adopt the method of evidence-based medicine.[Conclusions]This article uses the scientific metrology,information visualization,and social network analysis method to recall the development of general practice,compared domestic and foreign hot forefront research direction and evolution characteristics.Point out the evolution of Chinese localization in general medicine trends:（1）The current general medical service model is given priority to with community health service model.（2）Attaches great importance to the rural grass-roots health development.（3）Medical health reform development of general practice medicine.（4）The general development of our country attaches great importance to the combination method of traditional Chinese medicine.Put forward suggestions to the development of China’s general practice:（1）Domestic development must first clear subject orientation.（2）Strengthen education systemic research.（3）Improve the ability of clinical practice.（4）Realizing specialization journals construction and its literature classification to create good communication environment for domestic research.（5）Strengthen the technical application and data mining.（6）Keep up with the time window from the health system reform and the development direction[Innovations and Limitations]Innovations:（1）Based on information visualization method this paper first completed general medicine from birth to hot forming,the evolution of frontier trend to conduct a comprehensive exhibition,discussion on the subject in general medicine development.（2）Through the social network analysis to locate the key nodes,interpreted the evolution of the basic theory of general medicine.（3）Using the method of journals were cited,show the discipline structure in general medicine,this paper analyzes the correlation between general medicine and other subjects.（4）Based on the literature cited in literature network emergent literature,combined with the emergence of literature documents keywords statistical analysis,to detect the frontier and trends in general medicine.（5）The hotspot research direction and the evolution
