In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s social economy, the accelerating pace of life, the ever-increasing social competition, social inequities, and unhealthy social phenomena,China’s national mental health problems have become increasingly serious. At present, patients with mental disorders such as mental disorders and neuropathy account for about 40% of the total number of patients.About 16 million people suffer from psychological-related diseases. They rank first in the overall burden of disease and account for more than 20% of the total burden of disease.Health work faces enormous challenges. The mental health issue has become a public health issue that is highly concerned by the whole society and has become an important factor affecting the harmonious development of the society.Shall be borne by the health management institute of Chinese medical association of "China’s urban residents psychological health data" project officially launched in 2015,which research for the smooth implementation of the project is responsible for data collection and analysis. This study used the PEM mental health management system as a platform and used the Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90)as a survey tool for China’s Liaoning,Beijing,Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Guangdong,Sichuan,Shaanxi,Hunan,Shandong,Shanxi and Hebei. The mental health status of 12384 normal adult residents in 12 provinces and cities including Guangxi was investigated. The investigation of the national mental health status of our country and comparison with the psychological norm in 1986 systematically analyzed the changes in the characteristics of Chinese citizens’ mental health over the past 30 years, and provided scientific evidence for improving the research on the national mental health and mental health in China.Results:1.In the study, the distribution and severity of the 10 factors of the SCL-90 scale were similar in the normal population. The mean values ranged from 1.23 to 1.66.No significant peaks were found. However, the proportion of moderate symptoms was higher than other factors in forcing, interpersonal sensitivity and foraging status.2.Analysis of the 12 sociodemographic variables of the surveyed subjects found that the scores of female factors were significantly higher than that of males(p <0.05),and the scores of various factors in the age group from 18 to 44 years were significantly higher than those of other age groups(p <0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in total scores(p >0.05).In different marital status, the scores of abnormal marital status such as widowhood, divorce, and remarriage were significantly higher than those of unmarried and first-married residents. The residents with religious beliefs scored significantly.Higher than non-religious residents(p <0.05),the scores of residents living in different places were significantly higher than those of non-local residents(p <0.05).In the comparison of parenting methods, the score was highest in uncultivated children, and in the comparison of health status The disease status was significantly higher than other statuses(p <0.05).3.The logistic regression analysis found that six variables such as gender, age, education level, religious beliefs, parenting status, and health status were the main factors affecting the mental health status of the people. The "gender" OR of the variable was 1.182(p =0.001),the dummy variable "lower secondary school education" OR=2.262(p<0.001),"college and undergraduate" OR=1.262(p=0.003),and the religious belief OR value 1.493(p<0.001),The parenting status of the parenting status was OR=0.196(p<0.001),the mother’s dependency OR=0.414(p<0.001),the father’s dependent OR=0.453(p <0.001),and the ancestral parenting OR=0.399(p <0.001).;Health OR=0.290(p <0.001)was statistically significant in the health variables;4.Compared with the norm in 1986,it was found that in the gender comparison, the male paranoid score was slightly higher than that of the female in 2015,and the female score was significantly higher than the male in other factors, reaching a statistically significant difference(p<0.05).Compared with the 1986 norm, men had lower scores than females in terms of fear factors, and other scores were higher than women. However, there were only gender differences between compulsions, fears, and psychoticism. The results of the 1986 age group showed that In addition to somatization, other factors scored concentrated between 18-29.The results of the 2015 study showed that with the exception of somatization, foraging status and fear, the highest scores of other factors were in the 30-39-year-old group.Conclusions:1.The overall mental health status of our nationals is good. However, forcing, interpersonal sensitivity and foraging status, the proportion of moderate symptoms was higher than other factors.2.From the perspective of social demographics, gender, age, education level, religious beliefs, parenting status, and self-health status are the main factors affecting the residents’ mental health. The specific manifestations are women, young adults, persons with lower education levels, and religions.People who believe in faith, are not supported by young people, and have acquired diseases later are less in good mental health.3.Compared with the 1986 norm, the mental health status of men in somatization, interpersonal relationship, depression, anxiety and other factors improved significantly.Women have decreased mental health due to factors such as obsessive-compulsive symptoms, anxiety, hostility and psychosis. The general psychological problems of young people are 10 years later than that of 30 years ago.
