A Mental Health Study Of Different Types Of Migraine Patients

Objective:Migraine is a recurrent vascular headache, pain in one or both sides,and often accompanied by nausea and vomiting. The pathogenesis has not been clear yet, our study was to recognize the difference levels of mental health of different types of migraine patients. we also explore the prevention and treatment to migraine. It will provide some basis to explore the mechanism of migrainefrom a psychological point of view.Methods:65 patients were enrolled in migraine group and 65 normal controls. The migraine patients were chosen from those who came to Shandong Provincial hospital from october 2009 to october 2010. Among them, migraine with aura:32 patients (14 males and 18 females), migraine without aura:33 patients (16 males,17 females). Selected control were partly maigraine patients'family numbers and partly doctors and nurses,30 male and 35 female. All observed objects are given to symptom CheckList-90 (SCL-90) and Eysenck Psersonality Questionnaire (EPQ) measured in the self-test of migraine patients,and given to Deanxit after scale, (each equivalent to Flupentixol 0.5mg, 10mg melitracen Lundbeck company provide),oral administration 1/3 pill once daily of the morning, were observed in three month, also recorded the first month and the third month in patients with migraine attack frequency, intensity, duration. Analysis of the correlation between different indicatorsResults:The patients with migraine was significantly higher N scores (P<0.05) suggests emotional instability, there is a strong personality nervous. There were no significant difference in E, P, L and the control group, (P> 0.05), and two different types of migraine group E, N, P, L score was no significant difference (P> 0.05); The scores of all factors of SCL-90 of the migraine patients group were higher than that Chinese normal(P<0.05), There was significant difference between migraine with aura and migraine without aura in depression anxiety,relationships factor (P< 0.05); there were no significant differences in cofactor. Application Deanxit after migraine were significantly improved the frequency, duration, degree of migraine (P<0.05).Conclusion:Migraine patients with poor mental health, The migraine patients have the problems in personality and psychology. there were significant differences between migraine with aura and migraine without aura in depression,anxiety,relationships factor.There were no significant differences in cofactor. Application Deanxit can improve the Frequency, Intensity, Duration time of migraine...
