With the deepening of the medical reform,the doctor's turnover in public general hospitals has remained at a relatively high level.The instability of the doctor team has brought a lot of impact on the normal operation of the hospital.Therefore,in order to improve the competitiveness of the hospital to achieve sustainable development of the hospital,how to prevent the departure of doctors has attracted increasingly hospital administrators` attention.Research shows that the level of employee's organizational commitment can be a good predictor of employee turnover.In this paper,a sample of R hospital which is a secondary hospitals in Wenzhou City was taken as an example to investigate the current status of the doctor's resignation,and to study the level of organizational commitment and turnover intention of the in-service doctors,in an attempt to understand whether the doctor's organizational commitment level is related to turnover intention.Through the analysis of relevant data,this paper draws the following conclusion: The organizational commitment of doctors in R hospital is divided into three dimensions: affective commitment,continuous commitment,and normative commitment.Generally,the level of doctor's organizational commitment is low,while the turnover intention keeps at a relative high level.Doctors' personal attributes have an impact on organizational commitment and turnover intention as well.Doctors` organizational commitment is significantly negatively related to turnover intention.Organizational commitment has a strong predictability towards turnover intention..Finally,according to the statistical results,the paper proposes suggestions for the current problems in R hospital,and tries to improve the organizational commitment of doctors and reduce the doctor's turnover.
