Objective:To investigate the application and clinical efficacy of Multi-Disciplinary Team(MDT)collaboration model in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal tumors. Methods:A retrospective analysis of patients with spinal canal treated at the Third Affillated Hospital of Southern Medical University from January 2008 to January 2018.Collecting clinical data to analyze the development of Multi-Disciplinary Team(MDT)collaboration model and its application in the diagnosis of spinal tumors, the formulation of treatment protocols, postoperative patient treatment, and rehabilitation physiotherapy.Collecting data of 62 patients with lumbar spinal tumors in spinal tumors MDT model:hospital stays bed time, degree of tumor resection, complications, and spinal nerve function score before and after surgery(by JOA scoring system)to analyze the advantages of the spinal tumors(MDT)model.Student's t-tests were performed on preoperative and postoperative 2 weeks JOA scores, and univariate and multivariate analyses were performed on factors that may influence function. All data were analyzed by SPSS21.0 statistical software.Result:The Multi-Disciplinary Team(MDT)collaboration model is a new type of medical care model focus on the interests of patients. The spinal tumors(MDT)model consists of Department of Neurosurgery,Spine Surgery,Intensive Care Unit,Department of Radiology,Department of General Surgery,Department of Anesthesiology,Department of Pathology and Rehabilitation Medicine in the spinal canal.Every department cooperates with each other in the diagnosis of spinal tumors, the formulation of treatment plans, the postoperative treatment of patients and the rehabilitation physiotherapy process.According to the specific conditions of each patient, individualized comprehensive treatment plans were developed to improve the patient's quality of life. The average hospital stays of 62 patients with lumbar spinal tumors in spinal tumors MDT model were 15.64 days, and the bed rest time were 1.79 days.60 cases were completely resected,2 cases were approximately resected, and no subtotal resection and subtotal resection were performed. There were no complications such as cerebrospinal fluid leakage or intracranial infection in this group of patients.According to statistical analysis,The preoperative spinal cord neurological function score and neurological function score at 2 weeks postoperatively were significantly different,And the neurological function of the spinal cord improved after the operation. The tumor location,Intraoperative electrophysiological monitoring, postoperative neurotrophic therapy, and preoperative spinal neurological function score are the factors affecting postoperative spinal nerve function.Conclusion:1.In the diagnosis and treatment of intraspinal tumors, the Multi-Disciplinary Team(MDT)can develop a more standardized, individualized treatment program, improve the treatment effect, reduce the occurrence of postoperative complications and improve the patient's quality of life.2.Through the diagnosis and treatment of the spinal tumors(MDT)model, patients with lumbar spinal tumors have a higher degree of tumor resection, shorter average hospital stay, less bed rest after surgery, and fewer complications. The tumor location,Intraoperative electrophysiological monitoring, postoperative neurotrophic therapy, and preoperative spinal neurological function score are the factors affecting postoperative spinal nerve function.
