Clinical Observation On The Effect Of Warming Needle Moxibustion On Gastrointestinal Function Recovery After Transabdominal Uterine Myomectomy

ObjectiveIn this study,gynecological patients with uterine myomectomy were selected as the study subjects.The first time of exhaust and defecation,abdominal pain,abdominal distension,and nausea and vomiting were used as observation indexes.By comparing clinically used electroacupuncture therapy,to observe the clinical effect of warming needle moxibustion on gastrointestinal function after gynecological abdominal surgery and to explore its mechanism,in order to further optimize the application of acupuncture-specific therapy in promoting gastrointestinal function recovery.Method1.A total of 60 cases from our department of gynecology who receive the transabdominal uterine myomectomy were randomly divided into observation group(warming needle moxibustion group)and control group(electroacupuncture group).2.Specific operation methods: All the patient took supine position,fully exposed acupuncture site,then sterilize with alcohol.the observation group used "warming needle moxibustion",zigong point(to avoid wound dressing position),zusanli,yinlingquan,shangjuxu acupoint,1-1.2 inch according to routine acupuncture,hegu,sanyinjiao,Taichong acupoint to puncture 0.5-0.8inch.Twisting and lifting-thrusting the needles until the patients have qi,then put a 3cm long ignited moxa cone on double zusanli?sanyinjiao needle handle,heat insulation with paper to prevent burns,waiting for the moxa cone to burn out,all acupoints were kept for 30 minutes.The routine acupuncture operation of control group was the same as that of observation group.The control group was treated with G6805-1 electric acupuncture apparatus,thethread clip is clamped on both sides of zusanli?sanyinjiao needle handle,select the dilatational wave with the frequency of 2Hz/100 Hz,to ensure the patient can tolerate the output intensity,all acupoints were kept for 30 minutes.The treatment begins with the first day after the operation.All the patients receive treatment once a day in the morning,one course last for 5days,The treatment is finished after one course.3.According to the first time of passing flatus and defecation after operation,and the grading scale of abdominal distension,abdominal pain,nausea and vomiting before and after treatment to make curative effect evaluation.Results1.Compared with the electroacupuncture group,the first time of passing flatus and defecation in the warming needle moxibustion group was shorter,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.2.There was no significant difference in the score of abdominal pain between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After 5 days of treatment,the record of abdominal pain in the warming needle moxibustion group was lower than that in the electroacupuncture group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.There was no significant difference in the scores of abdominal distension,nausea and vomiting between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After 5 days of treatment,the scores of the two groups were significantly decreased,there was significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).4.According to the improvement of abdominal pain,abdominal distension,nausea and vomiting,the curative effect was evaluated.The healing rate of the warm acupuncture group was 96.6%,and the cured group was 70%.There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).ConclusionThis study shows that warming needle moxibustion has a good effect in promoting the recovery of gastrointestinal motility after transabdominal uterine myomectomy,and the first time of passing flatus and defecation after operation is shorter than electroacupuncture.In addition,as the patients successfully passing flatus and defecation after operation,at the end of thecourse of treatment,the abdominal distension and nausea and vomiting symptoms of the two groups were basically relieved,so there was no significant difference between the two groups,but because warming needle moxibustion can produce warm stimulation which had the strong effect of warming up,so it proves better effect in relieving pain than that of electroacupuncture,because of its unique advantage,it is really worthy to be popularized in clinic.
