Clinical Observation Of Warming Needle Moxibustion Combined With Clomiphene In The Treatment Of Ovulation Induced By Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Objective:To investigate the clinicaJ observation of warming needle moxibustion combined with clomiphene in the treatment of ovulation induced by polycystic ovary syndrome,and to provide a safe and effective method for the treatment of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome and to optimize the treatment plan.Methods:Sixty patients with polycystic ovary syndrome diagnosed by acupuncture and moxibustion department from Danyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 20 17 to February 2018 were randomly selected and divided into control group and treatment group,30 cases in each group.On the 5th day of the menstrual cycle,the control group received oral clomiphene,50mg each time,once a day for 5 days,continued treatment for 3 menstrual cycles,the treatment group combined with warm acupuncture on the basis of the control group treatment.Conventional acupuncture onRN6,RN04S EX-CA1,SP10,SP6,SPO,SP8,ST40,KI3,LR3 etc.Warming needle moxibustion on RN04,RN6,EX-CA1,starting treatment on the second day after the end of the menstruation,once every other day,until the next menstrual cramps stop acupuncture,continuous treatment for 3 menstrual cycles.Observation indicators:Ovulation monitoring in the two groups before and after treatment;changes in basal body temperature before and after treatment;serum sex hormones in the two groups before and after treatment:follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),testosterone(T The change of PGOS symptom scores in the two groups before and after treatment;the effective rate of treatment in both groups;adverse reactions.Results:1.Ovulation:The ovulation rate of both groups increased after treatment.The ovulation rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).2.Basal body temperature:Before treatment,the basal body temperature of both groups was single phase,and both groups had single-phase to biphasic after treatment.Compared with the control group,the treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05)3.Serum sex hormones:After treatment,the levels of follicle stimulating hormone in the two groups increased compared with that before treatment.The levels of luteinizing hormone and testosterone decreased compared with those before treatment.There was significant difference between before and after treatment(P<0.05).It was superior to the control group(P<0.05 for all three).4.PCOS symptom scores:The scores of the two groups decreased after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).5.Efficacy:The treatment group was more effective than the control group(P<0.05).6.Adverse reactions:The adverse reactions in the treatment group were significantly less than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Warming needle moxibustion combined with clomiphene in the treatment of PCOS can promote the ovulation function of ovary to normal,promote follicular development and ovulation,which is related to the regulation of the balance of various serum sex hormones such as follicle stimulating hormone,luteinizing hormone and testosterone.Warming n eedle moxibustion treatment can also effectively reduce the side effects of clomiphene treatment and reduce adverse reactions.Warming needle moxibustion combined with clomiphene in the treatment of PCOS is worthy of clinical promotion.
