ObjectiveThe aim of this study is to explore the applying effect of cognitive behavioral intervention therapy on the mental state of anxious breast cancer patients and the applying effects of medical coping modes and immune-related cytokine levels so as to provide scientific reference for improving the quality of life of breast cancer patients.MethodsRandomized controlled trials are used.A total of 106 breast cancer patients admitted to the Department of Breast Surgery of the People's Hospital of Hainan Province from 2016 to 2017 were randomly selected and divided into two groups: the intervention group and the control group.Among them, the control group received conventional treatment, and the intervention group was performed cognitive behavioral intervention while receiving conventional treatment at the same time. Before and after the intervention, the general situation questionnaire,Self-Rating Anxiety Scale, and Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire were used to understand the psychological stress levels of the two groups of patients and medical coping modes. And the concentration of immune-related cytokines in the serum was detected by Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)to evaluate the final applying effect of interventions.Results1.Level of education, occupation, payment of medical expenses, nationality and other demographic data were compared between the control group and the intervention group and there was no statistical significance in the difference of these aspects(P>0.05).2.Scores of SAS and MCMQ between the control group and the intervention group before the intervention were compared and there was no statistical significance in the difference(P>0.05).After the intervention, scores of SAS and MCMQ between the control group and the intervention group were compared, and the score of the intervention group was significantly lower than that of the control group, showing that there was statistical significance in the difference(P<0.05).Meanwhile,Scores of SAS and MCMQ of the control group before and after the intervention were compared and there was no statistical significance in the difference(P>0.05).Scores of SAS and MCMQ of the intervention group before and after the intervention were compared and there was statistical significance in the difference(P<0.05).3.The concentration of serum IL-2?IL-4?IL-6?IL-8 and TNF-? were compared between the control group and the intervention group before the intervention and there was no statistical significance in the difference(P>0.05).After the intervention, the concentration of serum IL-2?IL-4?IL-6?IL-8 and TNF-? were compared between the control group and the intervention group and there was statistical significance in the difference(P<0.05).Meanwhile,the concentration of serum IL-6 was compared, and there was no statistical significance in the difference(P>0.05).ConclusionsThis study shows that through the implementation of cognitive behavioral intervention therapy on breast cancer patients, the level of anxiety of them can be effectively reduced, patients' mental health and their own positive coping ability can be improved, and their immune function can be enhanced as well.
