| Psoriasis,called "baibi" by the traditional Chinese doctors,which is the common erythematous scaly skin disease.Currently,the western etiology and pathogenesis of psoriasis is not completely clear,which is thought that it is related to genetic?immunity?infection?endocrine and metabolic disorders?neuropsychiatric factors and so on.There is no specific clinical medicine,the vitamin A acid?immunotherapy agents and glucocorticoid are been used mostly.But their long term efficacy is not well,and there are some adverse reactions.So the traditional Chinese medicine has been used in the treatment of psoriasis.The traditional Chinese medicine believes that the main mechanisms of this disease is the blood-heat.Clearing and quickening the blood?clearing heat and resolving toxin is the treatment principle.This study is based on the empirical formula of the tutor.The clinical curative effect of this empirical formula in treating this disease significantly.Therefore,the experimental study is carried out to confirm its efficacy and safety.This study includes of two components,literature review and clinical research.The literature review includes two parts,the first review discusses the western medicine on the etiology?mechanisms and treatment of psoriasis,the second review discusses the origin of psoriasis about the traditional Chinese medicine on the name?etiology?pathogenesis and treatment.The clinical research part:ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy?safety and recurrence of Reduqing granule in treating psoriasis vulgaris of the blood-heat type.MethodsNinety patients were randomly?single-blindly divided into three groups,the thirty patients in therapy group were treated with Reduqing granule and dovonex cream,the thirty patients in the first control group were treated with Reduqing granule,the last thirty patients in the second control group were treated with dovonex cream.Visit 1 times a week,before the experience and after 2 weeks?4 weeks of the experience,observing and analying the PAS I score?traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score?quality of life index score?curative effect?adverse reaction and recurrence between the three groups.ResultsAfter 2 weeks and 4 weeks,the PASI score?traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score and quality of life index score of three groups showed a downward trend.There was no significant difference and statistical significance between the three groups about this three indicators after 2 weeks(P>0.05).The therapy group had a significant difference than another groups on this three indicators after 4 weeks(P<0.05).And it was statistical significance.After 2 weeks,the effective rate were 36.67%in the therapy group,which were higher than that of the first control group(30%)?the second control group(23.33%)(H=1.77,P=0.41>0.05),so it was no statistical significance and had no significant difference between three groups.After 4 weeks,The effective rate were 80%in the therapy group,which were statistically significant higher than that of the first control group(60%)?the second control group(46.67%)(Z=7.70,P=0.02<0.05),so it was statistical significance and had significant difference between three groups.There were no obvious adverse reactions in the three groups during the treatment.The recurrence rate were 12.5%in the therapy group,which were significant lower than that of the first control group(33.33%).the second control group(50%)after 8 weeks of follow-up.ConclusionTreating psoriasis vulgaris of the blood-heat type with Reduqing granule had significant efficacy,and it had more significant efficacy combined with dovonex cream.After 4 weeks,the PASI score?traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score?quality of life index score in the therapy group was significant lower to the other two groups,it had no significant adverse reaction and lower recurrence rate in the therapy group.So it was worth to be recommended in clinical application?... |
