ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of blood-letting therapy in the treatment of sudden sensorineural hearing loss by comparing pricking Erjian and Geshu combined with western medicine with western medicine individually, investigating clinical basis and new innovation in the early treatment of sudden deafness.MethodsSixty patients meeting the inclusion criterion were randomly divided into two groups in the ratio of 1:1 with 30 patients in the treatment group and the other 30 in the control group. The control group: 0.9% Nacl 100 ml bolus+Dexamethasone 15 mg each time, injecting, once a day for the early three days, then 0.9% Nacl 100 ml bolus+Dexamethasone 10 mg each time, injecting, once a day for the medium three days, and then 0.9% Nacl 100 ml bolus+Dexamethasone5mg each time, injecting, once a day for the late three days, combined with 5%Glu 250 ml bolus+Jinnaduo 70 mg each time, injecting, once a day for two weeks, with taking Methylcobalamin 0.5mg each time,3 times a day for two weeks. The treatment group: Pricking bilateral Erjian and Geshu once a day for two weeks on the basis of the treatment in the control group.Evaluate the average listening threshold, the condition of tinnitus and dizziness and the Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)score before and after the treatment of the patients respectively. All the data was recorded and Statistical analysis was performed.Results1.Clinical Efficacy:(1)The clinical efficacy of sudden deafness: Theeffective rate of the treatment group was 90.00% totally compared with 73.33%in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)by statistical analysis, and the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(2)The clinical efficacy of tinnitus:The effective rate of the treatment group was 90.00% totally compared with 66.67% in the control group. The difference had no statistically significant(P>0.05)by statistical analysis.(3)The clinical efficacy of dizziness:The effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33% totally compared with 87.50% in the control group. The difference had no statistically significant(P>0.05)by statistical analysis.2.The Average Listening Threshold:Comparing the average listening thresholds within and between the two groups before and after treatment, they all decreased. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05)by statistical analysis, and the average listening thresholds in the treatment group were lower than that of the control group.Comparing the difference values between the two groups after treatment, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05)by statistical analysis, and the treatment group showed better effect.3.The SAS Score:Comparing the SAS score within and between the two groups before and after treatment, they all declined. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05)by statistical analysis, and the SAS scores in the treatment group were lower than that of the control group.Comparing the difference values between the two groups after treatment, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05)by statistical analysis, and the treatment group had a better efficacy.4.Some factors related with Sudden Deafness Curative Effect:(1)The relationship between the level of hearing loss and the deafness curative effect:In treatment group, the effective rate of the patients whose hearing was between 26 dB and 70 dB was 100.00% totally compared with 66.67% that whose hearing was beyond 70 dB.In control group, the effective rate of the patients whose hearing was between 26 dB and 70 dB was 94.44% totally compared with41.67% that whose hearing was beyond 70 dB.The differences are statistically significant(P<0.05)by statistical analysis, showing the lower level hearing loss could get a higher curative effect possibly.(2)The relationship between tinnitus and the deafness curative effect:In treatment group, the effectiverate of the patients with tinnitus was 85% totally compared with 100% those without tinnitus. In control group, the effective rate of the patients with tinnitus was 61.11% totally compared with 91.67% those without tinnitus. The differences are statistically significant(P<0.05)by statistical analysis, showing without tinnitus could get a higher curative effect possibly.(3)The relationship between dizziness and the deafness curative effect:In treatment group, the effective rate of the patients with dizziness was 86.67% totally compared with 93.33% those without dizziness. In control group, the effective rate of the patients with dizziness was75% totally compared with 71.43% those without dizziness. The differences have no statistically significant(P>0.05)by statistical analysis.ConclusionBlood-letting therapy combined with western medicine and western medicine individually all have a curative effect in improving hearing, relieving tinnitus and dizziness and reducing the SAS score, and The treatment group is superior to the control group in promoting hearing, but the two groups have a similar effect in relieving tinnitus and dizziness and reducing anxiety symptoms. It is possible that the level of hearing loss and tinnitus and the deafness curative effect have relationships, and it needs to expand the sample to continue the research.Bleeding Erjian and Geshu is one of effective methods for treatment sudden deafness with Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome,it is worthy of applying and promoting in clinical area.
