ObjectiveTo observe the clinical curative effect of heat-sensitive moxibustion on the treatment of breast hyperplasia of ganyu qizhi sydrome in the premenstrual and post menstrual periods, evaluate the difference in clinical efficacy between the two periods; And summarize the law of heat sensitive point and heat sensitive phenomenon.Methods60 patients suffering from breast hyperplasia of ganyu qizhi syndrome were randomly divided into post menstrual treatment group(PMTG)and premenstrual treatment group(PTG),30 in each one.Using heat-sensitive moxibustion therapy on the chest of the patients in the both two groups, which need to look for 1-2 points then used mild moxibustion until the heat sensitive phenomenon disappear. The patients of PMTG were treated in the week after the end of menstruation, while the patients of PMG's treatments were given ten day before the onset of menstruation, and the treatment lasted for one week as well. And the treatment was once a day, each menstrual cycle is treated 7 times, with a total of 3 menstrual cycles. The whole study was 6 mouths which contained 3 mouths of treatment period and 3 mouths of followed up period.Compared the scores of patients in the two groups before and after treatment in breast pain, tumor size, tumor of the hardness and scope, the relative symptoms as well as the follow-up of the breast pain, and summarized the high thermal points and thermal regulation.ResultsThere was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in age, course of disease, menstrual condition, breast pain and breast lumps(P>0.05).After 3 courses of treatment, two groups of patients in breast pain, tumor size, mass distribution and hardness and associated symptoms integral were significantly decreased(P<0.05).In breast lump size, hardness, distribution range and associated symptoms, the difference of those scores of PMTG were significantly greater than those of PTG before and after the treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).And the results suggested that it was no difference in the reduction of breast pain scores between the two groups(P>0.05).While,In terms of the recurrence rate of breast pain, the PMTG's was less than that of PTG,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In breast pain and breast lumps, the total effective rate of PMTG was 93.10%,and the PTG's was 79.31%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The overall efficacy of associated symptoms showed that the effective rate of PMTG was 89.65%,while PTG's was 75.86%,P < 0.05.Dan zhong was the most frequent heat-sensitive point for patients with breast hyperplasia of ganyu qizhi, which was up to 65.52%,followed by wuyi, zhongfu, lingxu and so on.And the yingchuang, tianchi were also the high frequency of heat sensitive points.Heat transfer was the form with highest frequency, which was about 40.52%.The second was thermal expansion, which accounted for about 30%,followed by diathermy, the rate was 13.79%.ConclusionNo matter took heat-sensitve moxibustion to patients with breast hyperplasia of ganyu qizhi in premenstrual or post menstrual period,it could significantly decrease not only breast pain and turnor but improve other relative symptoms. In the case of breast pain, both treatments were equally effective. While the curative effect of heat-sensitive moxibustion after menstruation were better than the premenstrual treatment in improving lump size, hardness, scope and relative symptoms. The heat-sensitive moxibustion of breast hyperplasia of ganyu qizhi had a certain high fever points, which had certain guiding significance to clinical practice.
