ObjectiveLooking at the current status of clinical research on exercise-induced lumbar muscle strain, western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and acupuncture treatment are very active, but the study of acupuncture point embedding has not shown its superiority. This article observes the effect of embedding catgut embedding therapy and conventional electroacupuncture on the treatment of exercise lumbar muscle strain to verifies the effectiveness and long-term effectiveness of the therapy. So that we can find more convenient, better results and better long-term results for the treatment of sports lumbar muscle strain and improve athletes' exercise level and prolong their careers, meanwhile, solve the problem of lumbar muscle strain recurrence MethodsIn this study,60 athletes with lumbar muscle strain that meet the criteria were divided into acupoint catgut embedding group and conventional electroacupuncture group according to the principle of random grouping,30 cases in each group.Shenshu,Dachangshu,Ashi points were selected in the acupoint catgut embedding group, unilateral pain take unilateral acupoints,10 days for 1 treatment,3 treatments in total. The conventional electroacupuncture group selected Shenshu,Dachangshu,Ashi points,3 days for 1 treatment,10 treatments in total.During treatment,we recorded the indicators of each group and compared the clinical efficacy indicators of the two groups, including:Case data, efficacy evaluation of functional activities in each group, degree of pain, lumbar motion. One month after the end of the treatment,we recorded and compared the status of various functional activities, pain, lumbar motion, and other indicators through WeChat voice,WeChat video, and telephone follow-up.At last,we establisheddatabase and used SPSS19.0 data statistics software for data entry and analysis.Results1.Comparison within the treatment group before and after treatment:after one course of treatment, statistics showed that before and after treatment, the patient's pain intensity, pain vision, dysfunction, and lumbar motion were significantly improved before treatment.Follow-up one month later, the pain intensity, pain visual dysfunction, lumbar range of motion were significantly reduced. This showed that the catgut embedding group not only had therapeutic effect on qi stagnation and blood stasis type of lumbar muscle strain, but also had certain curative effect on the prognosis of qi stagnation and blood stasis type exercise lumbar muscle strain, and has long-term curative effect.2.Comparison within the control group before and after treatment:after one course of treatment, statistics showed that before and after treatment, the patient's pain intensity, pain vision, dysfunction, and lumbar motion were significantly improved before treatment. After one month follow-up,the pain intensity, pain vision, dysfunction, and lumbar motion were significantly heavier than those treated for 30 days, which indicated that electro-acupuncture group had certain curative effect on patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis type exercise lumbar muscle strain, but it had poor curative effect and poor long-term effect on the remission period of patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis type exercise lumbar muscle strain.3.Comparison between groups:There was no statistically significant difference in pain intensity, pain vision, dysfunction, and lumbar motion scores before and after treatment in both groups, which showed that both can relieve the symptoms of qi stagnation and exercise-induced lumbar muscle strain. However, after one month follow-up,the value of each index in the two groups was significantly better than that of the electroacupuncture group in terms of pain intensity, pain vision, dysfunction, and lumbar motion scores. This clinical practice showed that the electroacupuncture group had a certain degree of remission during treatment, and there was a tendency to relapse after stopping treatment while the acupoint catgut embedding group was not only effective during the treatment, but also the recurrence ratewas significantly lower than that of the normal acupuncture group.Conclusions1.Both therapies had good therapeutic effects on qi stagnation and lumbar muscle strain. There was no significant difference between the two groups in reducing the intensity and degree of lumbar pain, reducing the functional index scores of sitting and walking, and accelerating the recovery of the normal range of lumbar motion.2.The The short-term efficacy of both therapies was comparable. The long-term efficacy of acupoint catgut embedding therapy was significantly better than conventional electroacupuncture therapy.Acupoint catgut embedding therapy has the advantages of less treatment times, exact curative effect, significant long-term curative effect, etc. It provides athletes with continuous and effective treatment and is worth promoting in the field of athletes.
