Clinical Observation Of Knee Threezang Decoction Combined With Exercise Therapy Treatment On Knee Osteoarthritis

ObjectiveKnee Threezang Decoction,has been used in clinical medicine by Qui Qingzhong,a famous Chinese medicine doctor.As this Decoction leads good effect for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis curative clinically,and mentor Qui Qingzhong commonly guides the patient to do exercise therapy with isometric contraction,this study will discuss the effect of Knee Threezang Decoction and exercise therapy for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,to provide reference for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.MethodsThis research strictly uses diagnostic criteria,inclusion and exclusion criteria and random number method to divide 60 patients with knee osteoarthritis into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group.Patients in the treatment group take knee threezang decoction ang take exercise therapy for knee;Patients in control group were treated with oral diclofenac sodium enteric-coated tablet with exercise therapy.Treatment lasts two weeks.Before and after the treatment,VAS pain score,Lysholm knee joint score scale,knee joint WOMAC score table and TCM syndrome scale were used to score the patients.The observation indexes of two groups of patients before and after treatment were recorded and compared and analyzed.Results1.In treatment group,5 cases were controlled,13 cases were effective,8 were effective,4 were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 86.67%.And in control group,2 cases were controlled,7 cases were effective,15 were effective,6 were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 80.00%.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was significantly different,and the treatment group was better than the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).2.Two groups of patients before and after the treatment VAS score,Lysholm knee scores,knee WOMAC score and TCM symptom score comparison had statistical significance(P<0.01),the two groups all have achieved good clinical effect.3.After treatment,there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in the total score of VAS score and WOMAC score(P>0.05).4.After treatment,the Lysholm knee joint score,the WOMAC total score of the knee joint and the TCM syndrome score and the difference values before and after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05).In addition,there were significant differences between the two groups in the stiffness and the score of daily activity of the WOMAC score,the lumbar and knee weakness,the fatigue and the tongue pulse in TCM symptom scores and the difference values before and after treatment(P<0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group.ConclusionKnee threezang decoction with exercise therapy for knee osteoarthritis curative effect is distinct,and shows a better therapeutic effect than treatment of diclofenac sodium zyban with exercise therapy.Beside,it can significantly improve joint function,daily activities and TCM symptoms of KOA patients,and improve patients’ quality of life.Therefore,Knee threezang decoction with exercise therapy has significant and safe effect for knee osteoarthritis knee arthritis curative,and it is a success of combination of traditional Chinese and we stern medicine treatment on knee osteoarthritis,which is worth further promotion and further clinical research.
