The purpose of this study was compared the curative effect of acupoint inject of safflower injection combined with methylamine, ligustrazine injection combined with methylamine and methylamine injection in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy blood stasis syndrome, providing reference for clinical treatment.By screening,90 subjects in Endocrinology Department II of Shijiazhuang Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine met the criteria of blood stasis type DPN,and were enrolled in this research. The subjects were divided into 3 groups(group A,B and C,30 each group)by randomization grouping. In additional to their regular therapy of diabetes, subjects in group A received point injection of Safflower injection combined with Mecobalamin, subjects in group B were given Ligustrazine injection combined with Mecobalamin, while subjects in group C were given Mecobalamin only. The injection locations are both sides of Zusanli acupoint and Sanyinjiao acupoint. The treatment lasts 2cycles(7 days per cycle). Finally,we observed the change of common clinical symptomatic, overall effect scores among the 3 groups before and after point injection treatment and ankle brachial index,to study the therapeutic effect of chinese traditional medicine on DPN.The measurement data is recorded by x± s,and t test or variance analysis is used for normal distribution, nonparametric rank sum test was used for non-normal distribution, the counting data is checked by chi-square.After studying,we get the results: first of all,the pain symptomswere significantly improved before and after treatment(P<0.05)for all the 3 groups.Group B was better than group a,and both groups were better than group C(P<0.05).In the second place, the symptoms of fatigue were significantly improved before and after treatment(P<0.05)for all the 3 groups. There were significant differences between the three groups(P<0.05).What’s more, taking Day 7 and Day 14 as cut-off points,no significant difference was found between Group A and B(P>0.05)regarding the general curative effect score, while significant changes were found between Group A and C,as well as Group B and C(P<0.05).But each group showed significant change(P<0.05)between Day 7 and Day 14 by comparison within groups. Then regarding the effective rate of 3 treatment groups on Day 7 and Day 14,it showed faster response on symptoms of limb numbness and muscle cramp, rather than asthenia, dysesthesia and intermittent claudication. Finally, after treatment, the ankle brachial index of both group A and Bincreased significantly(P<0.05),while,there was no significant difference between these groups(P>0.05),The ankle brachial index of group C showed no significant difference before and after treatment. We may learn from the above discussion: firstly, the effect of ligustrazine in improving the limb pain of DPN patients was better than of safflower injection.Secondly, there was no significant difference in the improvement of fatigue symptom in patients with safflower injection and ligrstrazine injection.Thirdly, among the clinical symptoms of DNP,asthenia, dysesthesia and intermittent claudication could resolved faster than limb numbness and muscle cramp by point injection treatment of Safflower injection combined with Mecobalamin,Ligustrazine injection combined with Mecobalamin and monotherapy of Mecobalamin.Lastly, point injection treatment of both Safflower injection combined with Mecobalamin and Ligustrazine injectioncombined with Mecobalamin chould obviously improve ABI of DPN patient.
