| Objective:To study the clinical effect and safety of acupoint catgut embedding therapy in the treatment of type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN Qi Yin deficiency and blood stasis type).Methods:90 patients with DPN were randomly divided into two groups,45 in each group. The observation group was treated with catgut embedding therapy combined with lipoic acid on the basis of routine treatment;the control group was treated with lipoic acid on the basis of routine treatment.Three months later, observe the TCM syndrome type,Michigan neuropathy screening instrument, nerve conduction velocity, clinical effect, glycosylated blood red egg self and scrofula before and after treatment, and analyze these data with statistical method Results:(1)TCM syndrome score comparison: before treatment, there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).After treatment, there was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.01),which indicated that acupoint catgut embedding combined with lipoic acid could alleviate the symptoms of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(2)there was no statistical difference between the control group and the observation group before treatment with Michigan neuropathy screening(MNSI),but there was significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P < 0.01),and there was statistical difference between the two groups(P < 0.05)The significance of planning. The results showed that the MNSI score of the patients in the observation group was significantly faster than that in the control group.(3)The nerve sensory and motor conduction velocity in the observation group was significantly faster than that in the control group(P < 0.01 or 0.05).(4)the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.18%,the total effective rate of the control group was 77.27%,and the observation group was better than the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: The acupoint embedding combined with lipoic acid in the treatment of type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)has a clinical effect better than that of lipoic acid alone.Clinical worthy of further promotion. |
