| ObjectiveTo explore the characteristics of TCM syndromes of sudden deafness with ear fullness sensation,the characteristics of hearing curve and the clinical curative effect.MethodsFrom January 2016 to December 2017,185 patients(185 ears)with sudden deafness with ear fullness sensation and 60 patients(60 ears)with sudden deafness without ear fullness sensation were admitted to the department of otolaryngology of zhongshan hospital affiliated to guangzhou university of traditional Chinese medicine.The clinical data of patients were analyzed statistically,Including TCM syndrome,hearing curve,hearing loss degree,ear stuffy degree grade,etc,to explore the characteristics of TCM syndromes of sudden deafness with ear fullness sensation,and the characteristics of hearing curve and the clinical curative effect under the treatment scheme of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.ResultsThe total effective rate of sudden deafness with ear fullness sensation was 66.49%,and the cure rate was 21.08%.The total effective rate of ear fullness sensation was 86.49% and the cure rate was 63.24%.The total effective rate of sudden deafness without ear fullness sensation was 55.00%,and the cure rate was 13.33%.There was no statistically significant difference in the total effective rate of sudden deafness with ear fullness sensation and withoutear fullness sensation.The comparison of different TCM syndromes with the sudden deafness with ear fullness sensation and without ear fullness sensation was a statistically significant(P<0.05).There was a statistically significant to compare with the different hearing curves of sudden deafness with ear fullness sensation and without ear fullness sensation(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance for the difference in hearing loss of sudden deafness with ear fullness sensation and without ear fullness sensation(P>0.05).The total effective rate of different TCM syndromes in sudden deafness with ear fullness sensation was statistically significant(P <0.05).There was no significant difference in the total effective rate of the ear fullness sensation between different TCM syndromes(P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference between the ear stuffy VAS scores of patients with different hearing curves(P<0.01),and the low-frequency decline was significantly lower than that of the other three types.The total effective rate of hearing in patients with different hearing curves was statistically significant(P<0.01).There was a statistically significant difference in the total effective rate of ear fullness sensation in patients with different hearing curve types,among which the low-frequency descending type(95.89%)was significantly higher than that of the other three types.There was no statistically significant difference between the ear stuffy VAS scores in patients with different hearing loss(P > 0.05).The total effective rate of patients with different hearing loss was statistically significant(P<0.01).There was no statistically significant difference in the total effective rate of ear fullness sensation in patients with different hearing loss(P>0.05).The total effective rate among different age groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionBased on the results of this study,the TCM syndromes of sudden deafness are mainly based on the excess syndrome,and the types of qi stagnation and blood stasis are more common,and the qi stagnation blood stasis is the main syndrome type.The total effective rate of wind evil invasion type was good,but there was no significant difference in total ear fullness sensationefficiency between different TCM syndromes.Based on the results of this study,after the treatment of sudden deafness with ear fullness sensation,most of the patients can relieve the symptoms of the ear fullness sensation,most of which can be cured.Based on the results of this study,the hearing curve of the patients with sudden deafness was mainly low-frequency,and the hearing loss was moderate.There is a certain law between the severity of ear fullness sensation and the type of hearing curve,low frequency descending type of patients with relatively mild ear fullness sensation,and the effect of ear fullness sensation is better,most can be relieved after treatment,most can be cured.Low-frequency descending patients have good curative effect and good prognosis.Based on the results of this study,age is important factors that affect the curative effect of sudden deafness.Patients with small age had better prognosis. |
