| Definition: Sudden deafness is idiopathic sudden hearing loss in other words. It was defined: It is a kind of sensorineural hearing loss medium or severe that happened suddenly for no obvious reason. The process is probably a gleam or few hours till few say companioning tinnitus and dizziness. There are no other skull nerve symptoms except the eight nerve's. It always happens in one ear and only 1% of patients involve two ears. There is a high suffering rate in people ranging from 40 to 60 years old and the man is dominant. The disease happens in Spring and Autumn commonly.Because the reason of this disease is not clear. The therapy depends on experience. The curative defect and prognosis are not satisfying. Analyses after summing the evolvement of research in pathogeny,mechanis,objective measure, etc.Objectives: discuss the correlation in SD's nesogenesises, TCM differentiation syndromes and prognosis. Seek to the obvious factors correlate to happenings and prognosis.Methods: collect the data of 150 inpatients of the last fore years and fill in a SD questionnaire mainly consulting the laboratory measures of pure tone audiometer and ABR.Then process clinic Stat. analysis.Result : the suffering age stage ranges from 40 to 60 years old occupying 47% in all patients. The suffering rate is much higher in brain workers than in physical worers.In the same time, the length of the course of disease is marked correlates to correlates to curative effect and prognosis.Theshort, the better. Between the dizziness and curative effect and prognosis have distinct correlations. Patients having no-dizziness behave better prognosis. It is concluded that vocations, suffering says, dazziness, cardiovascular disease markedly correlate to curative effect and prognosis. In labrotarymeasures, ABR is much more correlated to curative effect and prognosis. |
