Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Government Supervision In Private Medical Institutions

As an integral part of our country's medical and health service system,private medical institutions can provide diversified medical services to the society,meet the needs of people at different levels of consumption,and ease the accessibility and affordability of medical services.The development of private medical institutions has broken the monopoly of public medical institutions and activated the medical market,which has a certain role in promoting the reform of medical and health system.However,with the rapid development of private medical institutions,their problems have become increasingly prominent.How government should supervise private medical institutions so that their occupational behaviors can be carried out in a normative framework has become an important research subject.This article analyzes from three aspects in the process of government supervision towards private medical institutions,that is supervision basis,supervision subject,and supervision contents,and tries to answer the following three questions:What problems exist in the government supervision of private medical institutions?What are the reasons behind the poor supervision of private medical institutions?How to increase supervision and create a long-term supervision mechanism?Focusing on the core issues of the study,this article takes the private medical institutions in Huli District of Xiamen City as the empirical research object,and uses case study method,comparative research tools,and the public policy research perspective to investigate the status of government supervision of private medical institutions in Huli District of Xiamen City.The survey found that there are problems of regulatory legislation lag in government supervision of private medical institutions,imperfections in the legal system of quality supervision in private medical institutions,unscientific access standards,and inadequate regulatory capacity etc.Combining the Theory of Quality Supervision,this paper proposes to perfect the regulatory system for private medical institutions,Innovate regulatory measures,improve regulatory capabilities,and create policy recommendations for long-term regulatory mechanisms.
