Clinical Observation Of Anshen Tongluo Acupuncture On The Patients Suffering From Tension-type Headache

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture on treating post-ten sion-type headache by Anshen Tongluo needling method.Compared with the traditional acupuncture treatment of tension headache,the study is a iming to evaluate the clinical significance of Anshen Tongluo needle po int method for tension-type headache.Methods:Seventy-two patients were randomized into Anshen Tongluo acupuncture group(the treatment group)and ordinary acupuncture group(the control group),with 32 in each group.The treatment group received acupuncture with Anshen Tongluo needle point methods;The control group received the routine acupuncture method.The clinical efficacy of acupuncture was assessed by using Visual Analog pain Sale(VAS)before and 1 and 3 months after treatment.The scores of PSQI,SAS,SDS were registered before and after the treatment respectively.Results:1.To compare VAS point:After treatment,the headache index and intensity of two group were significantly decreased than before,showing remarkably difference.While after the 1,3 months treatment.The pain relief degree was superior in the treatment group as to that of the control group(P<0.01).Study shows that anshen tongluo acupuncture group.2.To compare total effective rate:The effective rate of anshen tongluo acupuncture group and control group were 94.4%and 77.8%,the difference was statistically significant.3.To compare PSQI score:Before the treatment,the score was no significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).After the treatment,anshen tongluo acupuncture group down 76.2%patients with sleep disorders than the before,routine acupuncture group down 40%patients with sleep disorders than the before;comparison in PSQI score among sleep disorder patients.4.To compare SAS and SDS score:Before the treatment,the score was no significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).After the treatment,SAS score was superior in the treatment group as to that of the control group(P<0.01).After the treatment,SDS score was superior in the treatment group as to that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:The anshen tongluo acupuncture method can significantly alleviate the pain level of tension-type headache patients,its effective rate in pain relief is demonstrably superior to routine acupuncture group;All patients were followed up for 1 and 3 months,the treatment group was also superior to routine acupuncture group;Both of these therapies can improve the sleeping quality and treat anxiety and depression in tension headache patients,while anshen tongluo acupuncture method had tranquilizing and analgesic effect.In a word,according to the research study that the method of anshen tongluo acupuncture should be a good choice for the youth patients with tension-type headache.
