Clinical Observation To Lumbar Disk Herniation Treatment Based On Eight Extra Meridians Acupuncture Theory

Research objective:At present,clinical acupuncture treatment usually using the acupoints along the bladder meridian,kidney meridian and governor meridian,so based on this acupoint selective principles,we added the eight extra meridians theory and set a new external acupoint groups to treat the lumbar disk herniation syndrome,providing the new ideas to guide the clinical diagnosis and treatments and hoping it will have a close or superior effective to the routine methods.Research Methods:By lumbago syndrom rating scale with 60 cases lumbar disk herniation patience which involved M-JOA low back pain score,VAS pain assessment,personal data,clinical syndrome basement.Separated the experiments cases as two groups,using the points of L2-L4 Jiaji,Shenshu,Dachangshu,Zhibian,Huantiao,Yinmen,Fengshi,Weizhong,Yanglingquan,Chengshan.In eight extra meridians,we selected Houxi,Shenmai,Jiaoxin,Zhubin,Waiguan,Zulinqi,Fuyang,Jiaoyang.Both this two groups have electro-acupuncture with mid-frequency to lower back and low-frequency to L2,L4 Jiaji points as an assistant treatments.acupuncturing time is 30 minutes per time and the intermediate frequency physiotherapyis is 20 minutes per time,the treatment interval is third a week and one treatment course is ten times in total;after one treatment course we give the assessment to improvement degree and the treatment efficiency.Sample detection from SPSS 19.0 software and observe whether it has a significant difference and the therapeutic effects.Research Results:The results we got are as follows:(1)Routine group:lumbago recurring rate(3.00±1.01)?leg numbness reducing rate(2.20±0.96)?daily activity function improving rate(12.47±3.51)?painful feeling reducing rate(3.67±0.71)?improving index(10.40±2.60)?improving ratio(69.26%±20.58%),Since the effective showing rate was 76.7%,it has the statistical significance before and after treatments.(2)Eight extra meridians group:lumbago recurring rate(3.00±1.25)?leg numbness reducing rate(2.27±1.55)?daily activity function improving rate(12.20±6.60)?painful feeling reducing rate(3.40±0.89)?improving index(8.70±4.65)improving ratio(66.16%±20.39%),Since the effective showing rate was 66.6%,it has the statistical significance before and after treatments.Conclusion:The wholly therapeutic effect rate of the extra meridians group are lower than the routine group,however,it still have the function to improve the patients clinical symptom and painful syndrome.The improving rate in the leg numbness,sensation feeling,movement,standing,washing and brushing,seating and walking are higher than the routine group,so the theory that treating disease along the extra meridians are still practicable,and it is expected to be improved better and have a perfect ideas.
