Research purpose: selects clinicians of North China University of Science and Technology Affiliated Hospital to be the respondents and analyzes barriers to EBM from correlation theory of knowledge management.Research methods: firstly, summarize the barriers to EBM and confirm the questionnaire framework by literature research method.Secondly, consult experts of this field and protocol the questionnaire.Thirdly, based on pilot investigation, examine the reliability and validity of the questionnaire and then confirm the questionnaire. Finally, conduct the formal questionnaire survey, then analyze data by SPSS 18.0.Results: the average scores of the four dimensions are all low.Married clinicians have more “individual experience” than single clinicians. The elder clinicians' scores of“individual skills and emotion” and “individual experience” are higher than younger clinicians.Clinicians working more than 26 years have higher scores than other age groups in “individual skills and emotion” and “individual experience”.Intermediate title's average scores of “individual skills and emotion” are highest and senior title have highest scores in “individual experience”.In regression analysis,“individual skills and emotion” is the dependent variable, the other three dimensions have a positive influence to it.Conclusions: the average scores of each dimension is generally low which means that the hospitals' and clinicians' implementation of EBM in are not ideal.Different demographic variables affect the four dimensions. There is a positive correlation relationship among “individual experience”,“individual faith” and “cultural and technical support” significantly influence “individual skills and emotion”,which means that the key to implement EBM and clinical work is accumulation of individual experience and individual faith as well as hospital cultural and technical support.
