Objective:To investigate the status of pain management evidence-based nursing practice among nurses in oncology department of 10 tertiary hospital of Shandong Province, and analyze the effects of pain management prior conditions and pain management self-efficacy on pain management evidence-based nursing practice.Guiding nurses to correctly deal with internal and external factors, improve the ability to carry out pain management evidence-based nursing practice, and provide basis for effective pain management in the future. Methods:In this cross-sectional study, the convenience sampling method was used to enroll 480 nurses from 10 third class hospitals in Shandong Province from May 2019 to August 2019.The general information questionnaire, the Nursing Pain Assessment Evidence-Based Nursing Practice Questionnaire, the Chinese version of Carlson's EBPMP Prior Conditions Instruments, and the Pain Management Self-Efficacy Questionnaire were used to measure the general demographic variables, pain management evidence-based nursing practice of nurse, pain management prior conditions of nurse, and pain management self-Efficacy of nurse,respectively.SPSS22.0 and Amos 22.0 were used to analyze data. The general data of the subjects were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation;Independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA were used to analyze pain management evidence-based nursing practice;multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of pain management evidence-based nursing practice;Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation among pain management evidence-based nursing practice, pain management prior conditions, and pain management self-Efficacy;path analysis was used to explore the effect path among pain management evidence-based nursing practice, pain management prior conditions and pain management self-Efficacy.A P value less than 0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:1.The total score of pain management evidence-based nursing practice of oncology nurses was(109.20±17.10),and the average item-score of total scale was(4.20±0.66).The order of the average scare of each dimension from high to low was as follows:comprehensive pain assessment dimension(4.33 ±0.75),pain screening dimension(4.25±0.88),pain reevaluation dimension(4.22 ± 0.77),selection and recording dimension of pain assessment tools(4.17 ± 0.78),and communication dimension of pain assessment(4.06±0.74)2.Pearson correlation analysis showed that there were significantly positively correlations between pain management prior conditions, pain management self-Efficacy and pain management evidence-based nursing practice(r=0.573,0.611,all P<0.01),respectively.The pain management prior conditions was significantly positively correlated with the pain management self-Efficacy(r=0.500,P<0.01).3.Multiple linear regression results showed that professional title, highest education level, whether they were pain specialist nurses, whether they participated in evidence-based nursing training, whether their ward was GPM ward, pain management prior conditions, and pain management self-Efficacy were the main influencing factors of pain management evidence-based nursing practice, which could explain 58.2%of the total variance.4.The results of structural equation model analysis showed that pain management prior conditions of oncology nurses could directly and positively predict pain management evidence-based nursing practice(?=0.438,P<0.001);pain management self-efficacy could directly and positively predict EBPMP(?=0.386,P<0.001),and indirectly affect pain management evidence-based nursing practice through pain management prior conditions.he indirect effect was 0.255,accounting for 39.78%of the total effectConclusions:1.The overall level of pain management evidence-based nursing practice of oncology nurses was relatively high,However, the communication dimension score of pain assessment was the lowest,it is necessary to further strengthen the communication between nurses and patients in the process of pain assessment.2.Pain management evidence-based nursing practice of oncology nurses is influenced by factors, such as professional title, highest education level, whether they were pain specialist nurses, whether they participated in evidence-based nursing training, whether their ward was GPM ward, pain management prior conditions, and pain management self-Efficacy3.The pain management prior conditions and pain management self-Efficacy of oncology nurses have a directly positive effect on pain management evidence-based nursing practice.Pain management prior conditions mediate the relationship between pain management self-Efficacy and pain management evidence-based nursing practice.
