Research On The Development Of Knowledge Services In Medical Librarie

In the context of the implementation of the “Healthy China Strategy”,the development of medical information and the epidemic of the new coronavirus,medical workers,medical students and even the general public have put forward new and higher requirements for medical knowledge.Medical Library,as the center of Medical Information Resources,is developing rapidly with the help of advanced digital technology.In recent years,with the gradual refinement of the development of medical disciplines,the promotion of evidence-based medicine model,and the extensive development of Popular Science activities in medical knowledge,the contradiction between the explosive growth of medical knowledge and the limited time and energy of medical staff is becoming more and more obvious,which makes countries all over the world pay more and more attention to the development of medical libraries,its service mode is gradually changing from the traditional library and information service to the more digital,accurate and intelligent knowledge service.On the basis of combing the relevant literature,this paper makes a full investigation,summary and reflection on the situation of developing knowledge service in 41 medical libraries in our country,and compared with the development of knowledge service in foreign medical libraries.This paper probes into the current knowledge service mode and the necessary supporting conditions of the Medical Library,forecasts and looks forward to the future development trend of the medical library,and sums up and analyzes the deficiencies in the knowledge service of the medical library in our country at present,with a view to learning from the excellent development experience of foreign countries,to promote our medical libraries to provide more personalized and specialized knowledge services for medical workers,medical students,scientific researchers and other users with medical professional knowledge background,and to promote the gradual opening of medical libraries to the public,to provide the public with high-quality medical knowledge services,such as scientific popularization of health knowledge,disease prevention,consultation and so on,to meet the needs of the public for medical health knowledge services,and to gradually improve the public’s health information literacy,thus contribute to the realization of a higher level of national health.
