Research On The Affecting Factors Of Late Pregnant Women And Newborn’ Constitution Types

Objective Apply the modern epidemiology method,analyze distribution feature,mutual relationship and affecting factors of late pregnant women and newborn’s constitution types and hope to provide relatively standard basis for the prevention and improvement of various biased constitution.Methods Selected 214 pregnant women who delivered at Zhejiang Chinese medicine hospital and their newborn from October 2012 to October 2013 as the research object.Reviewed the delivery records of them,collected age,education degree,laboratory examination,delivery way,the birth weight the gender of newborn and TCM physiological state assessment of each case,analyzed the data with SPSS 17.0 for Windows software.Results ①In the 214 pregnant women,50 cases are hot(23.3%),28 cases are weak heat(13.1%),5 cases are yang deficiency.(2.3%),65 cases are yin-blood deficiency(30.3%),36 cases are phlegm(16.8%),30 cases are balance(14.0%).In the 214 newborn,96 cases are balance(44.9%),80 cases are hot(37.4%),38 cases are cold(17.8%).The pregnant women who are balance and hot have a close relationship with the newborn who have the balance state.The pregnant women who are weak heat and yin-blood deficiency have relationship with the newborn who are hot.The pregnant women who are phlegm have relationship with the newborn who are cold.②Pregnant women’s different constitution types are associated with pregnant women’age,delivery way,the incidence of anemia and neonatal hyperbilirubinemia and not associated with their education degree.The pregnant women whose age are bigger are more easily to deliver hot newborn.The balance pregnant women are apt to deliver balance newborn by natural labour and the phlegm pregnant women are apt to deliver cold newborn by uterine-incision delivery.The pregnant women who have anemia are apt to deliver hot newborn.The hot pregnant women are apt to deliver hot newborn who have hyperbilirubinemia.③Newborn’s different physiological state are associated with their birth weight and have no obvious relationship with their gender.Conclusion Pregnant women’s TCM constitution have a close relationship with newborn’s physiological state.,with a view to the adoption of nursing of pregnant women,so that will be corrected unbalance type to balance type,thereby to reduce the incidence of pregnancy complications and newborn’s disease.It seems worth promoting in maternal health care.
