Background: With the microcomputer operation ability and speed of promotion,the advanced develop of Device that it could acquisition the head images from the living human.This technique of simultaneous stereotactic localization of the subcortical lesion by neural imaging and stereotactic,and the progress of the intervention,it can contribute to the accurate position of the lesion and the viability of Micro Invasive Treatment(MIT),and that it have a space in the treatment plan from intracranial lesions.The treatment plan was formulated under a study of the location and morphological about Inferior Frontal Sulcus(IFS),the precision located under the three-dimensional and a data has established about the IFS.The IFS is under the sulcus between the middle frontal gyrus and the inferior gyrus,before and after the course.It arise from nearby of the inferior precentral sulcus,to the frontal pole.The morphological change of the sulcus is very varities between cerebral hemisphere,because of closely related on the constrcture of its interal cells.And is closely relationship between IFS and precentral sulcus.In 1989,Ebeling U.was divided into 4 typical of the IFS,its according to the relationship of the IFS and inferior precentral sulcus:1).the IFS and inferior precentral sulcus is linked together;2).the IFS and the inferior precentral sulcus is not linked together;3).it have a branch from the origin of the IFS,and it linked with the precentral sulcus;4).the IFS is cross the precentral sulcus.A Transverse section based on the line of AC-PC as the reference line with 40 case of health-adault head MRI of the sequence T1 WI.In order to acquainted the position and morphological features of IFS,and further study the bilateral difference and sexual difference according to statistics and analysis,and its is the basis of further study about the spatial positioning of IFS.Finally,three-dimensional reconstruction and visualization make the space position relation of IFS was more visual,and its have a role in the treatment planning of the lesions near by the IFS.Objective: The aim of this study was to esplore the stereotactic anatomy of the IFS from the type of the transverse,coronal and sagittal,and the relation between the IFS and the precentral sulcus,and the stereotactic neurosurgery,reconstruct and visualize was more visual with the IFS.Methods: 1.40 cases of the health of ordinary people volunteer,male 20 cases and female 20 cases,brain from MRI with the sequence of T1 WI that it is based on the line of AC-PC as the reference line.To explore the location and morphology characteristics of the IFS in transverse,coronal and sagittal,and the categories was divided with IFS.2.The sampling point coordinates of IFS of 40 healthy adult with MRI from horizontal directions were measured in the coordinate system that was established on the midpoint of intercomissural distance,and established stereoscopic coordinates and multiple linear regression equation.3.The images with the continuous transverse,covonal and sagittal from 40 healthy adult heads of MRI that the sequences of T1 WI,and it was reconstructed by applying 3D-Doctor and efilm software by using a microcomputer.Result: 1.The categories of IFS was divided into 3 types with the images of sagittal,6 types with the images of transverse,and 4 types with the images of coordinates.2.Three-dimensional axises of the coordinate system were reconstructed to set up the data with IFS,and its stereotactic anatomy were established.Many regression equations and fitting equations about stereotactic location of the IFS were found.3.It was reconstructed and visible in tri-dimension of IFS with its spatial positions and relations between IFS and the anatomy of the near by.The model have a role into the treatment planning of the lesions with the near by IFS.Conclusions: 1.Amount types of the IFS with transverse,coronal and sagittal,and every image does not the only one type of the IFS with left and right.2.The value with Z is relatively stable,and there is not sexual difference and bilateral difference.The bilateral difference is not existing with male,and the value of Y of the left more spitting than the right of the IFS with female.3.The transverse section is distance from the center of the origin have a small degree of variation with IFS.The degree of variation the value of X more spitting than the value of Y and Z.4.The tri-dimensional reconstructions and visible study of the IFS sufficiently revealed the solid state,spatial figure and the relationship of the anatomy with the near by IFS.
