The Clinical Efficacy Of Shangzhongxia Gout Recipe Combined With Pangolin Treatment The Acute Exacerbation Of Gout

Objectives:To observe clinical efficacy and untoward effects of Shangzhongxia Gout Recipe combined with pangolin in the treatment of acute exacerbation of gout and to explore the effects of Shangzhongxia Gout Recipe combined with pangolin on symptoms,C reactive protein,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,blood uric acid,liver and renal function in treating acute exacerbation of gout,in order to evaluate the clinical effecay and safety and provide a basis to cure this disease.Methods:According to inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria and the random number table,60 cases of patients suffering from acute exacerbation of gout were selected and were randomly divided into treatment group(Shangzhongxia Gout Recipe combined with pangolin group)and the control group(Colchicine group).Both of the groups were 30 cases and the figure of blood uric acid,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C reactive protein,liver and renal function and score of symptoms of each case of groups were recorded.The length of administration period was 2 weeks.Conducted the evaluation of clinical effecay and safety of Shangzhongxia Gout Recipe combined with pangolin in the treatment of acute exacerbation of gout by organizing and analyzing data.Result:1.The total effective rate of Shangzhongxia Gout Recipe combined with pangolin in the treatment of acute exacerbation of gout reached 90%,there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)compared with control group(the total effective rate of Colchicine group was 75%).2.The scores of symptoms of joints:both groups decreased noticeably and there was significant difference(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).3.Laboratory index:(1)Blood uric acid:both groups decreased and there was significant difference(P<0.05);but it didn’t decreased ideally and showed no significant difference between the two groups either(P>0.05).(2)Erythrocyte sedimentation rate:both groups decreased noticeably and there was significant difference(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(3)C reactive protein:both groups decreased noticeably and there was significant difference(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(4)Liver function:no changing and no significant difference showed in treatment group(P>0.05).3 cases had hepatic dysfunction during treating in control group and incidence of the group is 15%.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(5)Renal function:no changing and no significant difference showed in treatment group(P>0.05),2 cases had renal dysfunction during treating in control group and incidence of the group is 10%.There was no significant difference between the two groups either(P>0.05).Conclusion:Applying Shangzhongxia Gout Recipe combined with pangolin can effeetively romove symptoms of joints(pain,tenderness,swelling and fever and movement disorder of joints)and decrease related laboratory index of acute exacerbation of gout with less toxic side-effect and has favorable applying prospects and is worthy of deeper extending.But limited to the length of administration period,whether blood uric acid could decrease to normal range and attacks could be prevented deserve further exploring when prelonging treating time of the recipe.
