To Observe The Cold Dampness Type Sciatica Caused By Lumbar Disc Herniation Therapeutic Effect By The Method Of Electroacupuncture Sciatic Nerve And Moxibustion

Objective: Through randomized controlled clinical trial,Observe cold dampness type Sciatica caused by lumbar disc herniation therapeutic effect by the method of electroacupuncture Sciatic nerve combined with moxibustion.Methods: In this study,we divided 60 patients who meet our standards into two groups,experimental group and control group in average,and each group has 30 cases.Experimental group mainly received the method of electroacupuncture Sciatic nerve combined with moxibustion,control group received electroacupuncture Sciatic nerve.All patients receive 4 courses of treatment,and each course has 5 treatments.And when a course is finished,all patients would take a two days` rest.The Short-Form McGill Pain Questionnaire(SP-MPQ)?Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)?Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores of lumbar and Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)would be taken to evaluate curative effect.Results:1?All 60 patients were included in this study,the baseline of the two groups were comparable.2?Two groups of treatment on the clinical efficacy of cold dampness type sciatica caused by lumbar disc protrusion.(1)The total efficiency of the experimental group is 96.7%,the control group is93.3%?There is no obvious difference between two groups(P>0.05).The cure and significant efficiency rate of the experimental group is 86.7%,the control group is53.3%;There is significant difference between two groups(P<0.05).(2)After the treatment Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores?PRI?VAS?PPI scores?Oswestry disability index scores and Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)of lumbar of the two groups were markedly improved,comparing with before has significant difference(P < 0.01);The scores of PRI?VAS?PPI? Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Oswestry disability index between the two groups were significantly higher than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores of lumbar spine.(3)To follow-up the cured patients after 1 month of the treatment,both groupfound no recurrence cases.3?During the treatment,the control group had 1 patients with sticking of needle,the rest of the patients had no adverse reactions.Conclusion:On the treatment of cold dampness type sciatica caused by lumbar disc herniation,two methods are safe and effective,the experimental group is superior to the control group in the terms of improving the patients' pain,improving daily activities and improving the anxiety.In improving the symptoms and signs of lumbar,the experimental group improves faster than the control group.
