Clinical Observation Of Gancao Xiexin Decoction Combined With SOX Chemotherapy In Treating Gastric Adenocarcinoma (Syndrome Of Dampness-heat Due To Spleen Deficiency)

Objectives: Observing the clinical efficacy of Gancao Xiexin Decoction combined with SOX chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced gastric adenocarcinoma with deficiency of qi and damp-heat syndrome,which non-resectable or non-radical surgery and radical resection of recurrence after surgery can not be removed,used to provide a certain treatment ideas and methods for the clinical treatment.Methods:60 patients with stage III-IV gastric adenocarcinoma were selected from the Department of Oncology,Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,60 cases were selected from the inpatient ward in Department of Oncology of Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in October 2015-March 2017,who was diagnosed with deficiency of qi deficiency,damp-heat type III-IV gastric adenocarcinoma,diagnosed by histopathology and cytology,and have objective evaluation of the indicators,the patients were divided into two groups according to the random number method: the treatment group(Gancao Xiexin Decoction combined with SOX chemotherapy regimen)and the control group(using the SOX regimen alone),the two groups of TCM syndrome points were observed after 2 cycles,Short-term efficacy,adverse reactions and quality of life changes.Results:(1)There was no significant difference between the two groups in gender,age,pathological type and clinical stage(P> 0.05).The baseline was comparable;(2)In the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome,the two groups were compared before treatment(P> 0.05),the two groups are comparable;before and after treatment of their own control and group control,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),there was a significant difference between the two groups in the improvement of TCM symptoms(P<0.05);(3)In the quality of life scores,the difference between the two groups before and after treatment was significant(P <0.05);(4)In the physical condition,the difference between the two groups after treatment was not statistically significant(P> 0.05);(5)In the short-term efficacy,the two groups were not statistically significant after treatment(P> 0.05);(6)In the adverse reaction,according to the established method of administration,the treatment group adverse reactions such as hematologic toxicity,gastrointestinal reactions,liver function damage was significantly lighter than the control group(P <0.05),but there was no significant difference in skin pigmentation and peripheral nerve toxicity(P> 0.05).Conclusion:Gancao Xiexin Decoction combined with SOX chemotherapy can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with advanced gastric cancer,and improve the patients' immune system and their quality of life,without increasing the toxicity,while reducing the chemotherapy drugs to bring the bone marrow suppression,gastrointestinal reactions,liver injury and other side effects,have good safety,but also fully reflects the feasibility of combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of gastric cancer.
